The Second Sopot Competition at Mokwy14a

For the second time this summer Polish Forums and Mokwy14a are giving a
forum member the chance for you to spend a weekend in central Sopot this
summer for FREE - and you can bring a guest!

This time we would like you to tell us why you would like to visit Sopot -
once again, just post your reason below and the best answer will win!

The prize is for Friday and Saturday the 24 & 25 of August, the last weekend
of the month and traditionally a great weekend to enjoy Sopot. If you are
unable to visit Sopot for these dates we will consider re-scheduling them
for you at a later time.

Just post below why you think you should have the room.

The winner will be posted at 17:00 BST on Wednesday 8 August so that you
have plenty of time to arrange things. People who entered the last
competition are welcome to enter again.

The judges' decision is final. Only serious responses will be seriously
considered, unless of course non-serious responses make us ROFL!

My wife and I are moving to Poznan in August. Poznan, because I have many family members there but we are not sure it is where we want to eventually live. We planned to visit Gdansk and the Sudety Mouuntains for other possible living places. A weekend in Sopot would give us the chance to explore that area for possiblilties of living.

My dream holiday :)

I dreamt I was lying on a hot sunny beach,
With my pink picnic bag and a big quiche,
And I was sunbathing on the sand so dry,
Wiping away little tears from my eye.

The tears would be one of many to come,
Not from sadness but joy, I would hum,
All the lovely friends, new and old to meet,
Dancing around to that lovely old beat.

I'd dream some more at the big blue sea,
For in a resort like Sopot, I'd much rather be.
I'd rest and relax throughout the long day
So I could drink and dance the night away.

I dreamt some more, and found a note,
It was short and sweet and I saw what it wrote,
It said I'd won a prize for me to stay,
In a lovely place down Sopot bay.

I was so happy, you could hear me sing,
And I just had to give them all a ring,
To say, yes, I'm coming wait for me.
But it'll have to be 2008 when there I'll be.

ok Admin, i would like to win for 2 reasons.

1. As an Australian living in central Poland, i am missing the seaside, its my second summer without seeing an salt water on my feet.

2. As my dear wife is trying to get pregnant so we can have little Polish/Australian kids, i think it would be a great supprise for her to get away and relax, not think about things to much, i keep telling her all she has to do is lay there, :), but you know how women can be LMAO. So it would be an enjoyable time for us both, if we get out of the room to see the water at all.

Er, I won't bother putting in my bid now.
