Sending this poem to a girl - cheezy or not?

I was going to send a small poem to a girl i like , but would this be just cheezy or sweet?

One says it takes one minute to meet a special human,
one hour to appreciate it,
one day to love it,
but a lifetime to forget it.

human

it

Doesn't ring as personal to me.. depends on the desired effect, and the context..

Better ask a girl/woman/lady though - I'm just a stoopid, stoopid man :-) the rest seems ok though

My intention is not to sound to serious yet ,but also hint to her that i think she is someone special :)
Therefore i have human and it. I could change it with Lady and her.

It's not that the poem is "cheezy". It might be a little overwhelming for someone who isn't in a commited relationship with you. She might think you're pressuring her to feel something too serious. She might even see you as a potential stalker who won't be able to forget her if she doesn't want to see you anymore. That's just my opinion.

My suggestion is to give her something less serious if you're trying to make her like you.

Well here's a poem that isn't serious but can give her a hint of your intentions.

Roses are red,
lemons are sour,
spread your legs,
and give me an hour.

I know you're not my hunnny,
So I thought about it twice,
But it's just dinner and movie,
Do you think that would be nice?

Try that, a little more appropriate for someone you just met. Make sure the card is nice though.

If you have not gone out with her at all or only for a short time I think it is way over the top and she will run a mile. Lady in red's advice seems most sensible.

It's definitely cheesy and only send it to someone you never want to see again.

Poems are when you are infatuated or in love. Never b4 or after <grin>
