No I do not think that! I think I would be stupid if I thought that. It seemed to me that the relationship established does not require a poem or at least that sort of poem. Much better to talk to her and tell her his feelings. However I do know my Polish female friend does not like discussing her feelings for me nor me discussing my feelings for her.

Ok, your english just needs small tweaking about. Some words you write phonetically
(that means you write them like they sound) so people can still understand you.

An example......

intuicion

it is spelt intuition, you just used a 'c' instead of a 't'

Or,

If not, I would need an operation and have to stay here for a couple of weeks.

One says it takes one minute to meet a special human,
one hour to appreciate it,
one day to love it,
but a lifetime to forget it.

Look at the words on it......."A lifetime to forget" sounds like someone much older would say that sort of thing.......that's what I meant, who thinks about lifetimes.......just my view.

Anyway, wyspy, they're not mistakes, you're just learning......I think your english is great but I noticed b4 you wanted to improve even more on it :)

I was going to send a small poem to a girl i like , but would this be just cheezy or sweet?

I think it can be quite sweet, but that's only if you were sending it to me and if I really liked you the same way too.
I would be a bit unsure how to react to it however if I don't really like you the same way at all. I don't think it hints at commitment in the serious sense in any way. Its more like the sort of "I'm so crazy about you" dramatic sense... a bit childish a bit like a young lover's words, a bit old-fashioned if you like.

Think it depends on the person you are giving it to, really. Like some other ladies on the forum have commented that they think its cheesy... So... I think you have to use your own judgment !
Good luck!

PS oh yes if you are really gonna use the poem, I think you might want to change the word "human" to "person". People don't tend to say "special human" when they are referring to a special person...

Try this........

My heart to you is given:
Oh, do give yours to me;
We'll lock them up together,
And throw away the key.

The thing about poetry is unless you're REALLY good at it, it's always cheesy except to the object of your affection. So I'd say, do you want to be posting that stuff on a public forum?

(for people who have already slept together)

A poem is a poem.
If she likes you she will like the poem - no matter how bad - because you sent it.
If she's not interested she will not like the poem.

No sorry - the last bit is wrong.
If she's not interested - and the poem is good - she may become interested.

But the poem has to rock!! big time
