Well, he says teabags are really quite expensive in Poland, and they're really cheap here - plus, he loves Tetley tea!!

You can buy Tetley Tea here and it ain't expensive.

But I've heard that the little Tetley Tea Folk don't speak Polish.

Every time I go to Poland .. which is about once a month, I take various items from the UK to Poland as gifts for friends and family - tea is one of the most frequent asked after items.

Branston Pickle, curry paste/sauces are other items I bring over to Poland.

Never had any problems taking these items into Poland.

If you go up north in England you'll sometimes see hand written cardboards signs in cornershop windows saying 'we sell bread'. It like rationing is still in effect.

Funny, my wife brought me tea as a present from Poland.
Don't remember the brand (the tea is gone now), but it was great.

poland is fortunate enough to still have freshly baked bread on sale in most food shops - they havent, yet, been swamped with the soggy sliced paff we get fobbed off with in the uk

freshly baked, non-mass-produced british bread is delicious - you just dont get to see it as often as you do in poland... we have lost the art in return for the convenience of not having to slice our own bread...

you can get the best of both worlds in most reputable supermarkets these days. They bake it fresh every day and you can put it in that nifty slicing machine

don't know where you're buying your bread from in Poland ... there is such a variety of breads and buns .... and they never taste stale or hard to me :o)

the bread you get in Polish shops in UK is not the same as the bread you get in the bakeries/market stalls/supermarkets in Poland,
