You know, this is one of those days in history where everybody remembers exactly what they where doing in that exact moment. I was in my car on my way to Starbucks when Howard Stern on the radio started talking about some airplane that had crashed into the WTC, saying "there is no way this is a small plane" (that's what the media was saying at the beginning). He went on the rant, (you know, Howard Stern), and sure as sh!t, latter on the "breaking news" confirmed, that this was a big plane crashing into the WTC, and the fire was out of control.
I got home just in time to watch the first Tower fall on the CNN.
My mind was occupied by a friend of mine who just started working for an architectural firm in WTC. I was wondering if she'd survived. My wife called her mother two weeks later, and that was the most awkward phone conversation I ever witness in my life. How do you ask a question like this: "excuse me, but is your daughter still alive"? But it turned out she was all right. Thank God.

June 15th, 1981. My Hamster died. Remember then, today, and always.

God Bless Them, not America
I hope you two feel very good now after insulting the memory of 3000 dead. Yeah, you are cool now. You showed them, alright.
