BBC view

Seems that they are only trying to trace her relatives at the moment and that it was her employer who reported her missing. I read earlier (Edinburgh Evening News) that the police aren't treating it as murder...so what is it then?

Exactly. I just read that police think her body was dumped after she was killed (British media - you gotta love it) so I don't know what they truly think. Scots law will have something to do with it not being treated as murder yet...

Evening Standard

This one speculates she's from Lithuania. Who knows? Lets just hope they catch her killer and get some justice for her.

Edinburgh Evening News said: At present the case is not being treated as murder.

No point linking the whole article as it's just the same as the others.

the woman probably cut her own head off and chucked it in a bag and then in the sea. or it all happened by accident. oh dear, this is very worrying. if it's not a murder then i don't know what the police will come up with, but i cant wait to find out...!

A shocking and truely tragic event. Whoever she was and where ever she was from, I hope the persons/s guilty of her horrific murder are caught swiftly and sentenced to the full extent of the law.

In Britain that will be about 5 years, shortened to 2 and a half for good behaviour .......15 tops for murder.....

homicide?
Seriously though, a head doesn't chop itself off, so what else can the criminal be tried for (if he/she's ever caught)?

I feel awful for this girl and her family. I hope they catch the bastard soon.

I think by tomorrow they'll have announced that it's a murder inquiry. I just read an article that said there were "unconfirmed" reports that her flat was a blood-bath. The police had been there for hours and hours so there may be something in that.

They also say she lived there with a boyfriend. So where is he? After all, it was her employer who reported her missing. A lot of speculation at the moment though.

Yes, his parents divorced when he was two and now he hates all women and therefore justifiably chops their heads off. Poor guy, he must be so misunderstood.
*sheds tear for violent murderer...oops, I meant victim of society*

Police have identified the dead woman as Jolanta Bledaite, 35, from Lithuania. "

According to these boards all attacks on East Europeans are by anti-Eastern European locals. Even when the perpertrator is found to be East European himself, he has been framed by anti-Eastern European locals. There must be a conspiracy somewhere. Maybe a Jewish one?
