Looks like he is going to sign for Glasgow Celtic, the team Artur Boruc and Macleij Zurawski plays in. He seems to be a left-defender.

Anyone know anything about him, how good he is?

He's quite good and hard-working player - in Celtics he would have a big chance to go to EURO 2008. He's played several times for the Polish national team already.

sounds good. Celtic need a left-sided defender. They just signed a really good right-sided one, Andreas Hinkel (German, 17 caps).

Hinkel picked up a hamstring injury early in the game against Killie. Zurawski, looks like he's on the way out though. He just can't get a game. I'm all for Gancarczyk. Plenty of Polish Celts over here as well. Our local priest is a hoops fan too!

Yeah, they have a massive following. Zurawski isn't being played, because (allegedly) he has a habit of taking cocaine and this doesn't sit well with the manager of Celtic. I must stress allegedly as it comes from a friend of a friend of a friend sort of thing.

He had a great first season with Celtic, it's a real shame that this has happened.

As for Hinkel, he is going to be one of the best right-sided defenders in europe through time.

Celtic seems to have been the prefrred choice for Polish players over the years.

I was at the pre-season game with QPR at Loftus Road, plenty of Polish Celtic fans there that day.

Most of that was right, but Scotland is a Protestant country. Yeah, we could do with a decent LB and Artur cld help him settle in, just like Naka will do for the young Japanese wonderboy. I have not heard anything about coke, but I have read that Zurawski is probably off to the States. Hail hail!

Seweryn Gancarczyk is quite good defender. He can surely compete with Lee Naylor. His shoots from left leg are very strong!!! It's a useful skill in British football.

So i'm glad cos Gancarczyk will got an opportunity to develop his abilities in Celtic and became worthful part of National Team :)

If he can do this for the Hoops, I'll be a happy man!
