We can all claim we know exceptions to stereotypes but the fact is that we recognise the stereotype and the stereotype has validity despite us wishing it didnt exist.

yeah of course its just a message board, people can post whatever they like, but remember that stereotypes dont create themselves, we create them. and examples usually prove the rules. to me a white woman dating a black guy isnt trashy, shes more like open minded. but like someone else said, white old guys with thai/chinese/russian women who could be their daughters, and whom are probably internet or mail order brides, are kinda funny. and it is probably the only way they can get such a young woman. but hey, if it makes them both happy (the guy has a young girlfriend, the girl gets a new life in a better country), i have nothing against it.
