Should goverments pull in war criminals from WWII?

O f course you are only a war criminal if you happen to find yourself on the side that loses the war....If you are on the winning side , who is going to bring you to justice....?

This is not true as we have seen USA hold accountable soldiers in Iraq that mistreated prisoners. Humiliation in front of a country alone is quite the deterant for abuse of power. Carol

I was thinking more about the second war , Iraq is a bit different , there are camera,s all over the place and its more difficult to hide war crimes...I don,t think there would be so many soldiers held to account if the press were not close to the action....Take a look at the situation in Vietnam , not so many wound up paying for their war crimes there....
