52 trillion dollars worth?

http://members.aol.com/bblum6/speech.htm, have a look

http://www.naitazi.com/2008/03/10/pakistan-among-10-most-unpopular-cou ntries-in-us-poll/, Pakistan is 6th and Saudi Arabia is 8th. China is 10th. This is a list of the most unpopular countries according to Americans. Ur 'allies' are less popular than China, wow, what does that tell u? Wires crossed somewhere?

http://www.pollingreport.com/terror.htm, some interesting stats Matty. The majority think neither side are winning the war on terror, I wonder why. America lost in Vietnam, despite being superior on paper. Need for a rethink, just maybe?

we could have won Vietnam, but where not animals... Couple huge bombs and the war would have been over....

I don't like our allies either, so what...... many allies are allies of common interest and not because of love for one another...

because the government and military are in the better position to know better who is a threat than some average joe on the street.... I'll trust a 5 star general over the average American...

The average American IQ is in the low 100's while the leaders of our military have IQ's in the 120's or higher.... who do you think knows better???....

So polls are just a waste of time? I agree, I trust the generals more but polling is an arm of democracy, r u just going to ignore that? It was the people, with some rigging, that got Bush in

The government knows to take polls into account but they also know not to solely rely on such information...... It's a balancing act......

Personally I never voted for Bush, voted for Gore and than Kerry.... Either way he still has my support because he is no where near as bad as people make him out to be.... Starting the war on terror in my opinion was the best thing to do, regardless if its going as smoothly as we would like it too... if this war was put on hold for another decade it would be 5x much harder to win than it is now.....

and yes he won with some rigging, just shows you how stupid the American public is to vote for him twice........

The more I read, the more I'm convinced that ISI should be ur target, and not Al Qaeda. The man who killed Bin Laden had strong links to the ISI, an agent I think. America is weak, bowing to Pakistan. How pathetic!!

Actually the US threatened to bomb Pakistan in the beginning of the war.... that is when Pakistan decided to help fight the war on terror so we left them alone... I don't remember who said it but he told Pakistan that we will blow them all the way back to the stone age...

Exactly, hiding Pakistan's guilt. As much as I suspect Mossad involvement, the bulk of the evidence doesn't support their full involvement. Pakistan, now that's another story

I agree, the only thing that saved Pakistan in the beginning of the war was Musharreff joining the war on terror... Not whole heartedly but I guess satisfactory enough for the US government not to attack....

Top Targets of 911 Investigation
Melek Can Dickerson and her husband, USAF Major Doug Dickerson, offered to introduce Sibel to some of their friends, including two Turkish guys who belonged to the ATC and worked out of the Turkish embassy in DC. According to Sibel, "These two people were the top targets of our investigation!"

Turkey was the conduit to Pakistan but she can't reveal specifics. Read up on Musharaff too. http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/sunday/commentary/la-oe-brooks15no v15,0,7479567.column

We can discuss this one next time, http://www.newsweek.com/id/69494

Europes freedom to disagree is going to diminish....... At least without any recourse from Washington.... This is long overdue.... Europe bit the hand that fed them and it's time to bring things back to normal...

No more of a free ride......

It's time to expose Europe for the cowards they really are..... It's time for Europe to pay the costs for their decisions just like the US has....

Only exceptions are UK, Poland and a small number of eastern Europe governments.... I said governments and not people because it's clear all the people in Europe are cowards....

There was not one country's citizens that supported the war on terror and it's time to pay the costs...

Now not saying that nobody in Europe supported the war on terror but the majority have not... It's time to be held accountable for the stupidity of your peers..

and Europe has the balls to preach to America.... Funny thing is I was under the impression that both world wars started in Europe... you want to know why because you guys are such cowards that you appease your enemy until it's to late and when the problem grows big enough it then takes the whole world to get involved to solve the problem...

What Im getting at.... is that I sh*t on all those who are so naive and do not realize what needs to be done now before the problem gets worse...

It's western Europe whose dying and not the US.......

I wish you all the best in the new century..... lol

PS. the new color scheme for the forum is ugly as h*ll....

I agree Matty, Europe idly stands by, watching a catastrophe unfold. France would be first in line from a nuclear Iran, let's see the confidence then. Hitler was appeased. Thanks to Churchill, we stood up to them. None of this pacifying the monster nonsense. What a hash Europe has made of Kosovo. America again intervened in Serbia to stop many killings. Anyway, must go

WHAT PLANET IS GEORGE BUSH ON?

According to George Bush, the war in Iraq is "a major
strategic victory" and "the successes we are seeing are
undeniable". The reality for Iraqis is somewhat different,
as described by Seumas Milne in The Guardian: "They have
seen the physical and social destruction of their country,
mass killing, tens of thousands thrown into jail without
trial, rampant torture, an epidemic of sectarian terror
attacks, pauperisation, and the complete breakdown of basic
services and supplies." Iraq is ranked as the most violent
and dangerous place in the world and, with four million
refugees, it has become the greatest humanitarian crisis on
the planet.

I have to agree, Putin stood by and let the invasion happen but he has warned America over an attack on Iran. Most of the world community is against it. It is blatant hypocrisy to speak of Iraq as an ally of the US. It's a slave govt, exactly what Bush wanted. U notice that the new PM is not a Sunni. Drastic measures will be implemented in the next 48 hours if the militias don't back down. This will only lead to a further escalation of the conflict.

Bush opened a can of worms and will pay the price in the end

A British officer received the DSO instead of being locked up for the brutal murder of an Iraqi civillian in the custody of his men.

Col Mendonca is just another war criminal who's got away with it.

The 1 million compensation that Mr Mousa's family have applied for isn't enough to compensate for their loss. And it would seem that a lowly Cpl has been made the scapegoat for this henus crime.

Putin has a say for sure, it's wishful thinking to say otherwise. It's a government that is much more America friendly than Saddam's Baathi's were. They have to redefine what it in the interests of Iraq and that's not so easy. It's gonna be a bumpy ride for them. A 3rd day of fighting has been entered into with growing casualties.

He has been listening, he has warned u not to attack Iran. It begins to get bad when people in ur own country see the war as unjust and unnecessary. Public opinion cannot be ignored

So you think Putin is the reason America has not attacked Iran???? That couldn't be any further from the truth....... It was the lack of American public support, Governmental support, and our allies in Europe..... not to mention Iraq didn't go as smoothly as expected....

U expected Iraq to go more smoothly, how so? I didn't say Putin was the reason, I just said that he has stated his opposition to an attack on Iran. I think Putin is sterner than u think, he has a formidable armoury and has some clout

we knew it wasn't going to be easy, at least the government knew, however they didn't realize that it was going to be this difficult....

I agree, but Russia won't start a war to protect Iran...... its a marriage of convenience.... US is not stupid we know this....
