Siekierczyrna or Siekierczyn

Are these two different towns? Or different spellings of the same town?
Searching for birth records of my grandmother.

I thought I had it all pinned down, but now I have to do a little more in depth
searching.

I went to the website,
jewishgen.org/ShtetlSeeker/LocTown.asp
and typed in
SIEKIERCZYRNA and came up with no location in Poland with this name.

I typed in SIEKIERCZYN and came up with many possibilities.

Give it a try and see if any of the places might fit in to your search.

This is a very helpful website. Good luck!

Thank you both for that idea. I never thought to go to a Jewish website,
but now that makes sense. Since there were many Jewish folk living
in Poland.
