I hope someone can help me with the origin of my last name and possible relatives living anywhere. Both my father (Zygmunt) and mother (Olga) were born in Poland and escaped during WW2 Dad was in the Polish Carpathian Brigade and severed in Africa,Eygpt and Patestine. We immegrated to Canada and he never returned and unfortunately passes away very young. All help and information would be greatly appreciated kskrzepij@yahoo.ca

In Poland there are only 14 people with this surname Skrzepij (1 in Wroc³aw or nearby and 13 in Katowice or nearby)

Thank you to those who have replied. The information is appreciated. To those who have supplied an email address I will be replying with more information and questions It seems to me that with a Polish name as unusual as "SKRZEPIJ" there must be a connection. I am also interested in learning the history of this name and its origins. With respect to the deceased "Maria" I have no information; my mothers name was Olga and my grandmothers name was Janina-she passed away in the early 1950s'
