Yeah, especially when it's snowing outside (I remember people - mostly guys - still were enjoying Smingus Dyngus then...).

No it won't, it will get outlawed along with everything else that is safely fun. Someone will complain that it is a form of "assault". It's the sad truth, one American ruins it for the rest.

We always did that in Poland with my brothers and sisters and cousins and neighbors. We had bottles, pails, squirt-guns whatever and we would hide on the roof, behind buildings, from windows, etc. Lasted the whole day.
Big water-fights!

When I lived in NJ we waited for our neighbors, who were Polish, to drive by with their windows open and then we spray them with the hose......good laughs

I've heard people from the city don't like this tradition too much in Poland and they call the police... At least those who have cell phones (most).

If they play nice it's no problem, but when the hooligans get out hand then it's time to call the police and watch them get dranched. LOL

I usually had to take a day off when I was in Poland on Smigus dyngus as it wasn't possible for me to get to the bus station dry (and I was dealing with clients so I couldn't be wet .

Then I make them laugh. No one can resist the Polish charm. Not even my teachers. Can't tell you the number of times I've gotten out of detentions because I can woo them over. They love me. Teacher's I haven't had yet know my name before I get to class. Even the nice ladies in the office and lunch ladies know me.

But that's beside the point. Wouldn't you like to pour a bucket of water on some stingy people who complain too much? I sure as hell would.
