Quite disgraceful as the Poles are known to be sex crazed, especially over 15 year old girls...But I once heard a saying, in my younger years, on this subject from a Ukrainian: 'Old enough to bleed, old enough to butcher'.

As I posted elsewhere, a 13 year old is entitled to have sex in Austria, provided that their partner is less than 3 years older than them. The standard age of consent there is 14.

This is silly.
Age of consent never stopped a single true sicko, I'd wager. Perhaps it did stop a few couples from getting married for a few years, but that's it. In the U.S. it varies from state to state, and the laws are different in different jurisdictions. 14 is legal for consent, for instance, in some states (yes, true) although I think those states have a maximum age difference, similar, Seanus, to what you refer to Austria having.
Just because there is a law applying the extreme limits does not mean that everyone is rushing to try them.
Ultimately, the laws only protect you from HONEST people. Hopefully your daughter has been instilled with enough knowledge to take care of herself and has the intuition to avoid a sleazebag...in the mean time, martial arts training is a great workout, helps confidence, and might help her avoid some sicko that doesn't understand "no".

The age of consent is 15 or lower in most countries, only in America you can die for your country but you can't shag after the age of 25 or face death through torture in prison.

Is it believable and consistent, since Mary is believed to have given birth to Jesus when she was 13 or 14, so she could have been "blessed" when she was 12.

I think at the time a legal age for Jewish girls to marry was 9.

Well now marry might be different, I don't know but there are many places, where people marry off their children at birth or very young, you know arranged marriages and the like.

I'm not one to wave the moral sword. If the legal age in PL to have sexual relations is 15 and this girl is fifteen, then I see no problem from a legal standpoint.

Other thing is of course the age-difference. You didn't mention his age, but I take it he is much older than she is. If it works out, it's fine with me, but experience tells us that usually those relations don't last long as both ppl are in very different stages of life, especially the younger you get.

For example: the age difference between a 21-year old with a 16-year old is much and much bigger than the difference between a 34-year old and a 40-year old, while both gaps are six years. This is explained by the fact that everybody is pretty much full grown, physically and mentally around their 25th. So if you have a 40-year old, that person is equally full grown mentally and physically than a 15 year old with a 21 year old. The 21 year old is nearing completion of the getting fully grown process, while the 15 year old still has a long way to go.

Another story is the generation gap. A 50 year old could, according to the above rule be very well with a 26 year old, physically and mentally speaking. However, the 50 year old has much more life experience than the 26 year old, so that will collide some time and this is unavoidable. Exceptions do happen, but it's more the rule that it goes wrong. Some say the best difference is about 5 years - after your 25th, that is, others say 3 to 10 years; it's not really clear what works best, guess it mostly depends on compatibility.

So in short, I don't really care if they are a couple :)

I thought most European countries have an age of consent at 14/15? Spain has it at 13.

I live in America but my state has a legal age of consent at 16 so I don't find 15 to be appalling...

Most have it at 14/15, yes. Spain is highly Catholic yet sets it at 13. Interesting! 16 is, for me, ideal.

in many mexican states and south american countries, it's 12 and 13.
