Back from Poland! I belong there!

Czesc!

I have just returned from PL and I have to say...I belong there! I went through the beurocracy and also everyday life. I enjoyed it all and if plans work out...I will live out my life in PL!

I loved seeing the land , my relatives , and everything else!

I found a nice home for me and my mother. I love all that I have seen and all I have met!

I hated to leave but, I must take care of my business here and then off to PL !

God bless all of Poland and I hope that my heart will return to where it belongs!

Oh and I loved Biedronka :) and Zubrowka :)

I think I am one step closer to returning to PL. I went through quite a bit and saw life the way it is. I realize that the rest of my life in PL will be different than in the US , but, I think I know where I belong. I want say thank you to Poland and the people I have met! I met the rich and the poor, the happy and the sad. While I noticed some materialistic values, it was quite understandable and expected considering the history of Poland. Some of the rich were unhappy, yet the people with less seemed to give more.

I hope the lady that is selling a home will keep me 1rst in line (money talks though, in the US and PL ) .

Thanks again to PL amd God Bless Poland and ALL its people!

Good luck to you, I also, would do the same. After my visit's to Poland, I now love it, and would if I could move today, but to many ties here. Mike

I agree. We can only truely find happiness among our own kind. England will never truely accept me like Poland does, and I will always live a second class life here as an "immigrant".

Visiting my relatives was the best part of my stay in Poland too :)

I think most of my husbands relatives hate me

Oh and I loved Biedronka

Me to I miss biedronka so much I miss the lakes and the good places to eat but there is no way On a polish wages we could enjoy the lakes or the resturants. So there is a big difference between living on polish persons wage and spending time in poland with your dollars stg or euro the polish wage is not liveable unless you where born into that life.

In the meantime, I've discovered two new cousins and a ciocia whom I can't wait to meet (not to mention the Polish beer I'm dying to taste ;)

Oh and I loved Biedronka Biedronka is you are speaking about the supermarket is not Polish but Portuguese. nevertheless it must be good to feel back home again.

It is Portuguese but I guess even JK thinks it's Polish :) Belonging takes a long time usually. If you can stabilise your feelings then you may well feel you belong here.

Biedronka is you are speaking about the supermarket is not Polish but Portuguese. What how is that possible I have seen the adds on tv for biedronka they sell biedronka as 98% of food comes from poland. Any way I still think it is so polish with the fresh bulki.
