Chopin in Polish jazz

The Chopin stream in Polish jazz is represented mainly by Andrzej Jagodzinski, Leszek Mozdzer and Wlodzimierz Nahorny. Since 1994 Andrzej Jagodzinski has been devoting his time to projects on Chopin's music. He creates jazz interpretations of Chopin's etudes, mazurkas, polonaises, waltzes, nocturnes and preludes. In 1999, JAGODZINSKI TRIO - Czeslaw Bartkowski, (percussion) , Adam Cegielski (contrabass) - gave concerts in Germany, Austria, USA, Canada, Israel, Mexico, France, Czech Republic, and other countires, mainly for audiences of philharmonics. The band presented its Chopin programme known from its records. Jagodzinski recorded the following records with interpretations of Chopin's music: "CHOPIN" (1994), "CHOPIN - LIVE AT
THE NATIONAL PHILHARMONIC" (1997),
