A Girl Told Me You Have to Be Goodlooking to "sustain" in Poland.

Hello Everyone!
I want to study Engineering at Poland. So yesterday i did some google search and landed on a site named czat.onet.pl...well took some time but finally figured out its a full fledged Polish Chat Site.
i went in to get a little info on universities and dos and donts etc etc of Poland. Suddenly a girl popped in and told me that If you want to sustain in Poland, youve got to be good looking.is it true? i know europeans are all veryy good looking but what she told...is it really true?
If yes, I am attaching a picture of mine. can you please tell me if i will have any problems because of the way i look. (I am 17 years old...and pic is taken thru cellphone so not so gud quality..soorryy)

No they are not, trust me we have our fair share that were hit with the ugly stick too many times.

My advice would be, learn some Polish, save enough money to cover your studies and living costs and work hard, that's what you need to be able to survive in Poland.

It´s funny, because Poles that get the hell out of Poland, are the good-looking ones.

nonoo its not abt india or being an indian. the whole asia think its cool. people in anime have blue or green eyes and they look wonderful!!! and ive heard europeans have natural red hair..natural!!!!! wooooow ..and in most parts of India...all blondes are looked at as Princess Of Beauty :D

We Mediteraneans are considered to be good looking all over Europe.Unfortunately good looking does not mean always success.I think in slavic countries being good looking can take you really far because people do not have the germanic double thinking.

I remember how even some Italian guys were fascinated with my friend's blond hair and blue eyes :) They said she has "laser eyes" LOL
I guess it's exotic and thus attractive. The same is here - people are attracted to darkhaired people with darker skin :)

LOL, good comment! There's no room for the vain here. 1000 different people will judge you in a 1000 different ways. I never worried what girls thought anyway. I was always more into sport and getting through uni well, then travelling/teaching.

what are red neck bars??? many people drink alcohol. i dont understand.its soo bad for health na? but still they drink... and as some of you have pointed out, yes looks have nothing to do with studying. but as the girl said..if i cant live happily how can i enjoy and concentrate on my studies.please dont get me wrong :)...
