Notable Polish Scientists

I'm putting together a list of Polish scientists. I'm trying to find as many notable Polish scientists throughout history as possible. I'm not just referring to people born and raised in Poland. I mean anyone of Polish descent.

For example, Frank Wilczek is a Polish-American physics professor who teaches at MIT. He won the Nobel Prize in 2004 for discovering asymptotic freedom in the theory of strong interaction.

Please help me by posting some more examples. All help will be greatly appreciated.
