just because people stare doesn't make them prejudice, its just makes them curious.

People with other colour of skin have different opinion but white people from west decided : Poles are racist. Some think it is good some think it is bad. Grzegorz only one Pole on last pages is great example for them. He is worst than other racist because he is inteligent. Polish racist are the worst. I think Grzegorz hasn't seen any black person in his life (maybe once) and when he will met one will just stare like other other noNazi people

I agree. I get stared at in Krakow but I don't think that staring is being racist. I like the fact that we're all different. I love the variety, the differences, without that, life would be pretty dull. There's nothing wrong with being proud and identifying with your roots but that can be done without persecuting others who are not the same. Live and let live.

I only read the first page of this thread, and from my experience while living here for six months, I've seen wayyyy to much racism. Ridiculous. To add to that, a majority also dislike gays.

Yeah Brapp Gays are hated in Poland...even though there are as many here as anywhere else...they are indoctrinated into the "it is a psychiatric disease" philosophy. The only reason you don't see more discrimination is because they can and often do hide it...you cannot hide skin color.

I get the feeling talking to Polish men that they somehow feel threatened by gays...they get all macho and rag on them non stop.

Live and let live is not a philosophy practiced here.

Paris this is problem, some of people think that we should avoid this problem. Some prefere to develope our country slower but gain more in long time term. And nationalists are out of parlament because people haven't voted on them. It is not about being racist.

Poland havent robbed half of Africa, Poland haven't slavery past. Instead of sending winter jackets to Africa you should open your market on their goods and competite nad give them work there. YOU HAVE PROBLEM not we. It is not about race etc... in most of EU countries imigration policy failed. some people just don't want to have this problems in Poland.

I think we have the same amount of nationalists like in western countries but when there is small amount of people of other races they can feel that it is hostile country. It is because somebody can be first arab in town.

The biggest nationalistic talkers have never left Poland and they imagine they have some real sense of how the world is living. I live in Poland and see first hand how the things you deny are.

Oh no!!! Poland needs a law to make it illegal to be coffee colored right away! Then you will be required to stand in line for 6 hours to get your coffee colored stamp and be deported.

western Europe is rich because they robbed southern America, Africa and Asia ... Poland haven't done it. That is all I wanted to say. I am not from Western EU so it isn't my market :) Poles do immigrate because they can make much more money than here....it is a fact...that is why there is a national effort to retain professionals and skilled workers...they have left/are leaving en masse.

Open your market for goods from Africa and you will have in UK/France/Germany people who really love your culture history traditions. Poland feel more open on Ukraine and it is easy to understand. It is not racism that Poles prefere imigrants form Ukraine than form more decent countries they assimilate better that is all. I don't think that it was eccident that Itlay has opened their market for Romianians and Brits for Poles ... it wasn't racism.

What I want to add, If we are going to take imigrants form decent countries we should treat them equal. If they are here and are needed Brits solutions are better than French. Decison if we are going to do it will be made by this government and it looks like we are going to have China towns here. Personaly i prefere Ukrainians and Georgians (for people form USA it is country near Russia).

You obviously don't know your own history if you think Polish fighters were doing it for the UK,US or anyone else...they fought for their own survival and the survival of Poland. Tell the family of those who died they were suckers...you should be ashamed.
