“Along with those from the United Kingdom, Russian and Polish men are coming almost to the bottom of the list”, Greg Hodge, the managing director of BeautifulPeople.com, told the news.pl.

The website, which prides itself on having 540,000 members around the world, has rejected 1.8 million candidates so far. The recruitment process is simple. Applicants have to submit a current photo and their profile. The existing members of the opposite sex then vote whether or not to admit them.

So, what’s wrong with Russian and Polish men? Why are they rejected so often?

Greg Hodge says Scandinavian and South American males, who top the beautiful people list, tend to put more emphasis on appearance and keeping fit than their Russian and Polish counterparts.

In effect, only 9 percent of Russian men, as well as 9 percent of Polish men, are voted in.

Women from the two countries are faring much better, however. Thirty nine percent of Polish women applying for membership are accepted, puts them in seventh place. Top of the list are Norwegian women.

This is partly true.From Slavs serbian men look considerably better than the rest and then czech men.As for English they look very bad but they compensate with imperial attitude.

I disagree.Swedish women are top and much better than norwegian women.Polish,czech,slovak and serbian women come second after swedish and look better than norwegian too.

Tja, the 'viking girls' to me personally are nice/some are beautiful, but when it comes to real female attributes, south slavic+meditiranian...and Czech. ;)

It's just a matter of 'image' and those soviecticus old ones don't care about look at all.
If you try to look better in Poland they will call you a women or you will end up like Justin Biber. :>

True that whole pretty boy doesn't go well in Poland. BeautifulPeople.com is that kind of site, to them a good looking guy is them fags from Abercrombie billboards.

In my opinion this site wants to make more money through so called recruit system for only certain people . In my opinion this is not a matter of a look but it is a matter of the financial status of a certain nation . It is obvious that Polish or Russian men earn less ( in general ) so they are less atractive for scandinavian females . I have checked this site and all I can say is that there are average people over there people like anywhere else . The internet market of dating services becomes very tight , so any action to get attention is acceptable .

Beautifulpeople.com is an online dating service. The very fact that you are a member of that site reveals how incompetent you are. Come on- in need of a date? Laughable, don’t have friends to hang around with, no social events to attend etc. All of them actively searching for a date and friends should be a dead giveaway to everyone. In my opinion it’s an act of desperation if you are in need of such service, not necessarily because of your looks but your social skills. It does make you wonder though if they are as beautiful as they think they are. Hell it seems to me the so called ugly people or even the averages looking folks don’t have that problem. Nice marketing ploy though and it does provide an unintended consequence in a form of confidence building, perhaps it will build up their self-esteem enough to lead a normal life. Let’s just hope it doesn’t work the other way and make them snobbish in the end, anyway best of luck to them all.

I hope all the hot Polish girls belong to some other dating site. The chance of meeting a local guy for a date through the beautifulpeople.com is close to zero for them.

Its not that we dont have money .. . Its a matter of political correctness, since 90s politics and artists dressed poorly becouse being rich was associated with communist regime and that kind of thinking remains. If you want to dress up rich you take a high risk at a street alone, and yes i think this kind of website wants to attract certain kind of people so they shouldnt be called reliable source of information.

I haven`t said that .

All I want to say is that if I was to describe them I would refer in such words: the majority of young polish guys is very handsome , well dressed with nice haircuts and so on .

In my opinion they don`t have to hang-out, in fact they don`t do it , on dating sites to find their dream girl . These girls are everywhere in Poland and don`t hide themselves on dating services.

Maybe in Scandinavian Region it is different . I have heard many times from Swedish guys that Poland is a mine of fabulous girls . So , why would a nice polish guy go to such site for searching dream girls if he has got so many of them here .

I would only complain about a middle-aged men whos looks raises some questions . Not all of them of course , but that`s my impression . It is not a face or body but the way they are dressed and their hairstyles or lack of it .

Never in my life have I been surveyed what nationality I find attractive nor has anyone I know.

You've never been to Norway obviously. Slavic girls are sluttier but they are certainly not more beautiful.

I have been to Norway and actually tried to pick up girls with a Norwegian.I was there only three days.Actually norwegian women are very very bored.If you go there you will understand what I mean.

I've been in Oslo and you will find beautiful natural blondes with wonderful skin as opposed to the fake blondes in Poland with orange skin.

You dont get it...... I mean beauty is an individual thing, what you find good looking may not be what I find good looking.
I know girls that are like wow he is well nice..some boys too but thats another story and I personally cant see it. We have different taste...so beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Polish skin is a bit close to ukrainian which has an earth quality.However I don't appreciate much the western skin as well too fatty.Anyway norwegian women do not catch up to Polki in general attitude.

What if your wife (a beautiful woman, no doubt) gets ill and her medical condition somehow influences
her metabolism, so she does gain weight or even becomes fat? Will she not be the same woman that
you married? Will you not see her beauty, despite the fact that she may, in fact, be fat?

Today's shallow and artificial popular culture puts way too much emphasis on physical appearance IMO.
Looks like most of us are fooled by it. Luckily some are able to retain their common sense and human
character traits, despite the streams of moronic beauty propaganda flowing out of the TV screens and
tabloids.

Physical appearance is one of them, but for me not the be all and end all. Intelligence wins hands down every time, don't think I could be in a relationship without some intelligent convo. Ability to look after themselves and stand on their own two feet counts just as highly. Though saying all this I've never been with an ugly munter either, so maybe an ugly dumb lass is exactly what we should all look out for.
