Polish, other Slavic and European societies in 25 century. Futuristic thread

future of Poland

i would eventually write sci-fi book and i need cooperation here. What you people think?

Having in consideration ``all`` current mega trends and possibilities, what are prospects of Polish society, culture, language, science, military, space program, etc, etc?

So, we should focus on era that will span the years 2401–2500 of the Gregorian calendar.

As Neil Finn once said, Crow, 'it doesn't pay to make predictions'. Not in this way. Unfortunately, radical Islam will rise in the coming years and wreak havoc. In the absence of those with one agenda, as opposed to those with multiple sinister agendas like the EU, Islamic League and NATO, I don't hold out much hope. I've said it before, Crow, Slavic folk tend to be against those elements harmful to their way of life. However, Croatians showed otherwise and Slavs are far from united.

25th century? Maybe you should take up from where the late, great Gene Roddenberry left off with Star Trek, Crow. You could resurrect Chekhov and Dr Polañski, 2 Slavs that have already starred in ST. One in the original and the other in TNG. Globalist megatrends are not looking good at the moment.

but why not my friend? think. It could be very interesting and relaxing or even upsetting, i admit. In 25th century we wouldn`t exist but only eventually some of our distant cousins, children of our children...

Seanus:
Not in this way.

what else we can do, you and me, other members of this forum, in order to make at least little insight in `possible` future? So, let us speculate

Seanus:

i agree. But, be careful here. We speak of 25th century. Radical Islam just arising as threat but, i believe until 25th century this problem may belong to past, this way or another.

Cultural exchanges will hopefully still be the norm. It is some kind of Serbia Day today. They are presenting Serbian food and dress. Building bridges in this way is the future.

That depends on the powers that be more and not us. We can do little to stop politicians stirring the hornets nest, Crow.

Crow, it never pays to look deep into the future when the immediate future is fraught with danger.

actually its ÆEVAPÈIÆ (read as cevapchic; just first and last `c` read as in Italian `ciao`). PS, try not to broke your tongue ;)

word `cevapcic` as it is coming from the word `cev` meaning cylinder in English. That is due to form of meat.

It would be cool to be in the 1st grade and on openning book (or rather LBSK - laser-beam screen of knowledge on history) read about 2nd Moon war or Inquisition of Martians by Venerians or even better another revolt of Poles on Neptune for imaginary rights of Milky Way Constitution. Damn!!! So exciting. Freeze me and let me see the future :)

Nathane, what i know problem with freezing is that they decapitate heads in the process. Who knows maybe in 25th century people wouldn`t need heads at all

I don't remember if Poland did something good for Serbia. Volksdeutschers from polish government has even acknowledged the independence of Kosovo.

Btw. there is a lot of Serbians(over 0,5 mln) in Germany and Germany with USA are the most prokosovian, i think. That's weird.

They rarely use them nowadays, so why do you think we will need them in 4 centuries? Still, why do they need to decapitate before freezing? Is this because our brains are already frozen enough as they are or with the way we think we will scare the crap out of people born in the far future?

Powered exoskeleton
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Powered_exoskeleton
A powered exoskeleton is a powered mobile machine consisting primarily of an exoskeleton-like framework worn by a person and a power supply that supplies at least part of the activation-energy for limb movement.

Powered exoskeletons are designed to assist and protect the wearer. They may be designed, for example, to assist and protect soldiers and construction workers, or to aid the survival of people in other dangerous environments. A wide medical market exists in the future of prosthetics to provide mobility assistance for aged and infirm people. Other possibilities include rescue work, such as in collapsed buildings, in which the device might allow a rescue worker to lift heavy debris, while simultaneously protecting the worker from falling rubble.

The powered hand exoskeleton is an orthotic device that is worn by a human. Individual joints of the human hand can be moved. The actuation is performed by electric motors which transmit forces to the joints through Bowden cables. A real-time controller calculates the necessary control signals for the motor controllers based on the measured forces and joint angles. A separate interface computer allows the therapist to change the control modes, define new exercises, and supervise the rehabilitation.
