How do Polish people feel about an English teacher with crimson dyed hair?

I was just wondering how the majority of Polish people feel about unnaturally dyed hair. Would it be acceptable for an English teacher to have crimson-colored hair?

For an English teacher, no. For an old hag, yes :)

Poland is the land of hair dye. It is very normal. About six or seven years ago, it seemed like every office baba had multicoloured lowlights. Crimson would be a talking point - strong colours should be OK, but be warned that people would make jokes about looking like Michal Wisniewski, a particularly tacky Polish singer who is famous for his crimson (among other colours) hair. This is one reason why that particular colour tends to be avoided.

For reference, Europe's largest hair dye factory is just outside Warsaw.

Some old women here have purple hair. A bit more colour and they'd look like squawking parrots :)

It would be a ground for dismissal.

do it and if they fire you then sue them for unfair dismissal so you'll either keep your job or get a ton of dosh when you win your case against them

You'd never win an unfair dismissal suit. They have dress codes and they expect a certain standard from you.

only if it's written in your contract, if not then it's their own fault.

In the schools I've worked in I've never had problems and I've piercings and tattoos and have never even once had to wear a suit, not even proper trousers, just jeans, i thought I'd have had problems when it got warm in the summer with shorts but nah, even one else wears them.

If your boss has a problem with your hair colour then he's a tossbag and not worth working for
