Could be, however I think that the difference Kowalski - Kasia Kowalska is big enough even for a Brazilian to notice the difference. So miss Kasia is a singer/songwriter? Is she hot? (must be, according to some here, Polish females are the most beautiful in the world) Post links, pls!

Not the first time i'm saying this on PF: try Riverside ;) I like their music. Been to a gig in Paris last year.
You can also listen to:
-The Car Is On Fire (more pop than rock i'd say)
-Myslovitz
-Lunatic Soul (solo project of Riverside's singer), perfect for lonely nights... ;)

Or here, if you can't click on the link.

And as Gumishu said, you should find everything you want on Youtube (look for 'I Turned You Down' by Riverside, nice song, nice guitar ;))

My good friends back in Scotland are bikers and it's an institution. You mean classic rock, wildrover? Steppenwolf, that kind of thing? I don't know any Polish biker rock.

Dżem and IRA would be close to that climat

Certainly Kult + Kazik is the most cult band in Poland. There wasn't any better, with so many cult song, great & intelligent lyrics. Everybody loves them, even those who don't listen such music on daily basis ;)

Merged thread:
Polish Rock Bands

Hey

I'm into rock music in a big way, some faves of mine are Foo Fighters, Kings Of Leon, Nirvana, Green Day etc. Are there any well known Polish bands who are similar to these or just rock in general?

Thanks
Del
