The relations of Poles And Pakistanis

It really does surprise me, when so many poles come to England and most are welcomed wholeheartedly, especially by the pakistanin community. since they have been there already and have endured far more because they stand out because of the colour of their skin, wheras poles ( i hope saying poles does not offend anybody, i can think of another term ) do actually blend in, apart from when they speak. I love all cultures and all my pakistani friends have always gone out of their way to help a "foreigner" as they know that their parents didnt get that kind of help and if they did, they want to do the same for new entrants to the U.K.



I can't find a link or maybe I heard it off a tele documentary, but when Indians/Pakistanis/West Indians came over in the late 60s, it was the Polish community in West London who were noted for helping the newest settlers find their feet.
