She also managed to get 2-3 minor operations and she is only 25 years old.Another one started antiepileptics.

Did you even start considering the possibility of them being genuinely ill? Nobody prescribes anti-epileptic medication to people just like that. No, not even in Poland! ;->

The one went from hospital to hospital, she had some allergies but there was no reason to take cortison for so long. The other exacerbated the symptoms in my opinion I don't know but polish seem to visit the doctor very often.(another one asked me to buy her some pills for STD can you imagine that, she did not even know why they prescribed her these pills,I was shocked.)

pills for STD

Is there medication specifically targeted at STDs? I thought it was mostly antibiotics of different kinds?

Of course, look at the treatment of HIV.

so conclusion is: pray to not be dropped to finland.

have a nice day.
tow.stalin, the homophobic pole :)

It is good to note that at least a few Poles call a cat a cat. I mean have the courage to accept the truth and not like Torq or Terri who always put others on defence and do not bother to peep through their own breast or neck. To me comparison of a Pole to a Finish is inappropriate. If you read my initial posts you will realise that I raised the observation that Poles tend to adopt a posture to which they do not fit at least currently. It is a famous proverb that crow started copying the style of seagill and in that attempt forgot even its own style. Merely possession of white skin does not give you a license to become a Western European. It takes score of years to achieve some thing. So advise is ( with special reference to women) try to digest the freedom and money though donated by others and time will come when Poles may be standing shoulder to shoulder to Western Europeans. Experience soem fresh complexed behaviour of Poles.

Last week one Pole was caught doing some thing wrong in London. He was admonished only not to repeat the act. To my surprise when asked from which country he comes, Niederland was his reply. What a shame that he could not tell that he is a Pole.
Dr took few Zt and wrote the medicines on the name of some other patient. The person who got the recept was not authorised to get these Medicines on his documents.
While looking for car parking on main railway station a drunken Pole came and helped in Parking for an empty space and ordered not to get a parking ticket from machine. Later got 2 ZT and let the car go out. Accross the entrence Police was viewing and giving a smile both to customer and to this self made guarding of Car Park.

Above could be very small events but speak of psyche of a Nation. I have refused to drive on the roads of Warsaw as Poles are always crossing you from left. None can dare so in Western European Countreis including Finland. So is the situation here in Poland and I must end it by repeating what a country Poland is

Very intresting to note that another thread has come up with the title that are the POLES A NATION OF THIEVES: It is also a very valid observation. Very clumsy argument some one gave that since Poles were conquered as such they developed the habits of stealing and cheating etc. What a stupid argument. Afghans are since centuries in this situation but you will never find such filthy habits in them. There is some thign wrong with the psyche of whole nation and probably all of them need therapy by some Psychartist.

What you will say to this observation. In the parking of Carrefore, one Pole with yellow shirt is on duty. His job is to collect the shopping trolleys and put thiem in order. He has twin prong type pins in his hand. When he sees some one coming to return the trolley, he is findling with the already standing trolley with his two prong pins so that next comer can get his or her 2 Zt back. Poor customer is trying hard but fails and at the end leaves the effort to get his 2 Zt back. Comes a smile on the face of this man and the moment coustomer leaves, his hand works and with his two prong pins he earns his 2 Zt by getting it out from the slot. It was very amusing for me to see this game for one hour. He hunted six customers in this period. A unique experience which one even can not have in third world ****** countries. What a nation and what a country.

some thieves are very ingenious! It's been said that if some of the more enterprising ones devoted as much effort to honest work as they do to their schemes, they would be successful businesmen.
That said, I don't know anyone in my family that steals, so I resent the idea that this is a Polish trait. Now, if anyone of them were to become a drug addict, for example, then all the bets are off. My point is that stealing is not a genetic trait, but most probably a result of circumstances.
Snap! Wrong thread. Oh well.

hmmmmm... i was SARCASTIC, and i was counting on your intelligence - you disappointed me... please take this into consideration when reading my post...

clarification: your knowledge about poles, europe, etc, is very poor. i don't wont to discuss with you about this, because its wasting of time.

p.s. start counting days to leave poland.

have a nice day

How about observations of friends rather than this general nonsense that comes up? My friend, xxx, thinks xxx and their opinion seems to be typical of Poles because.... Otherwise, it's just vague nonsense.

It looks to me also as uptill now I have been playing mouth organ in front of some buffalo. Previously also Terri threatened me for dire consequnces now you tell me to start counting days. You all are mistaken. Most people from sub continent are Arians origin and they do not leave a thing half done. I have started this compaign to tell to Polish Community about their weaknesses and shortcomings and wil continue to so. So forget this notion that I will start counting my days. Incidently I was in Uk for few days and made some more deep obserations about some Poles and will intimate for all of you in due course of time.

You will find contrast in almost any society. Yes, even Japanese! I like students who produce language with passion but those that are humphy are a real chore. It's like pulling teeth. Mabye they are tired so I'm never too hard on them. They are there to learn and not feel under the cosh but it really requires patience.

agreed bu it looks as poles have accepted the observations made by me. this is also a great quality to accept weaknesses and make an effort to improve it. by the way what president of poland is trying to have from his counter part of czeck republic in high mountains.

Well, the cross issue is certainly exposing a radical element of Polish society. Also, guilty by association works as a concept. I have been labelled as a RM and PiS fan due to defending the cross being where it is. It really doesn't bother me either way but to be tagged as a fanatic is laughable and anybody that knows me would agree.

Or even The Czech Republic :)

Let's look at another aspect of Polish society, football fans. Who here has been to a football match in Poland?

I have been here in Greece in several matches and I don't think it differs substantially from Poland.

Greek fans have a rep for being close to the most brutal. Turkish fans too.

Polish police are an effective deterrent. The guys are huge!

Yes,some manage to bring in knives and other weapons. One year ago a fan of Panathinaikos was killed by an arranged clash through internet.
My brother who studied in Italy told me that once PAOK fans from Thessaloniki went with their team to a city in Sicely which is mafia center and after the match they proceeded to vandalisms while whole Italy looked astonished since noone dares to do anything in this city. The locals were caught by surprise.

The mafia just isn't that powerful here in that way. As regards property, they seem to hoarde the rynek areas but not that active in football.
