really the cave man in us is unconsciously thinking

I am just wondering how you know what a caveman was thinking? What happened evolutionwise to make us stop thinking those alleged thoughts and why we permitted this abnormality of yours to dominate our brain and not think about kids when we see a hot chick?

Note to the author of this thread:

You know, I bet you’re secretly gay.

Hey, look at me! I’m just trying to intelligently make a point in this psychotic thread…

from the Canadian advice column today:

A: Is everyone in the Republican Party a closeted homosexual?

B:Everyone except Ken Mehlman and Ben Quayle.

I'm not sure I understand the question. Are you really disputing the notion that our sex drive is a drive to procreate?

Of course I am. Do you believe that while masturbating I think about warming milk at 3 am? ;) Trust me, I don't. The same can be said about the same sex relations, about heterosexual moments of intimacy with condoms, about penguins in Germany, about prisoners in jails,...In any of these cases none is interested in procreation.

But, yes, at least some of it is indeed a choice.

some? lol.. what part is choice.. wtf? what kind of science are you following? creationism? lol

global warming

oh boy.. now you telling me the globe isn't warming? hmm

Right. Nor should we celebrate these abnormalities any more than we celebrate alcoholism.

you and i may think it's "sick" (gross) but it's not a sickness.

Or do you think all homosexuals are male?

oopsy.. lol that's very unlike him.. hmm

Gays also suffer from depression and anxiety and other mental/ emotional problems at higher rates than the general population.

so? of course they would if they have to deal with the likes of you.. it can be rather depressing to listen to the kind of BS you seem to believe and then spout.

Are you going to suggest treatment centres for city dwellers?

most definitely.. it just proves that one has to be crazy to live int he concrete jungle. ;)

How do you know what I have a degree in or not?

i doubt you finished college... if you even ever attended..

This is why rumphumping is so unnatural. Ya can't make babies with what comes out of that hole. :p

you better have never gotten a bj.. that is so not normal and definitely not going to yield any babies. ha rump..

I am just wondering how you know what a caveman was thinking?

that's easy.. he is one.. :D :D

Ben Quayle.

lol.. he may be worse then his poppa..

I think about

In any of these cases none is interested in procreation.

Of course you don't think about it, it's unconscious. Procreation is a primal drive. You don't have to think about it.

So, gays don't have this unconscious ;) primal drive which have crocodiles. Is this bad? Is this a disease not to be a crocodile?

It is a disease to be an alligator but not a crocodile.

I am glad you came to understand the fallacy of your opinion on gays, trener zolwia. Welcome!

Procreation is a primal drive. You don't have to think about it.

Many men would prefer the sexual drive women had when, in primitive times, women went into heat (estrus). Women evolved from this dubious condition and now can (usually) control their sexual urges.

psychologytoday.com/blog/the-human-beast/200907/ladies-in-heat

From the link: "This is something of a revelation given that the received wisdom of sex researchers was that women had lost estrus entirely, or had "concealed" it so as to permit continuous sexual receptivity. Being sexually receptive all of the time kept men in the dark as to when ovulation was actually taking place. This meant that if a man was to impregnate a woman, his chances were improved by staying around rather than just showing up during the few days of the month when a woman is most likely to conceive."

Can 'we' imagine what the world would be like if women (still) had estrus? ....boggles the mind.

some? lol.. what part is choice..

Well, see, it's like this... Science is now closing in on finding what could be called the "gay gene", an abnormality, a genetic flaw. So perhaps at some point they will "prove" that one is indeed "born gay", as gays and their supporters already claim, absent any backing scientific evidence. At this point it would mean being gay was due to a genetic defect, that could one day be corrected, and not a mental illness after all.

Now, for choice... What about the girl who goes off to college and "experiments" with lesbianism but she never before nor again is with other females? What about her? Was she "born gay"? No. Even though she was attracted to other females for a time. Clearly this was a conscious "choice" she made. Some might call this choice the result of a mental illness, but more likely her temporary gayness was a reflection of society's promoting and celebrating of gayness as being trendy and cool.

And the same for bi's... What, were they born only partly gay? Can they turn the gay switch on and off at will like a choice? Lol...

And the same for bi's... What, were they born only partly gay?

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is this so hard to understand???? Bi's like both sexes to a person specific degree. It doesn't mean 50/50, it may be 10/90, 30/70, 60/40,....,28/72 or 99/1. There is no absolute things in the world, nothing is mathematically perfect. People are different; they are not manufactued and cut to the same size and brain capacity. Can you measure love? Can you measure pleasure? Can you say about yourself: "I am 100 percent intelligent or 100% stupid"? No. Because in some things you may be good, but at others - not. What, were you born only partly intelligent? Of course, you were. Are you abnormal? No, because there is no norm as such.

Science is now closing in on finding what could be called the "gay gene", an abnormality, a genetic flaw

How do you make synonims from those two words? Can I say the opposite and be, thus, correct: straightness, normality, genetic perfection? I cannot, because it is not true. They won't find the gene for gayness, as there is no genes for love, whatever sex it is directed to. But let us pay those scientists who think like you that this is a disease and waste tax-payers money on preposterous assumptions.

Actually it is hard to understand

Is it? When spanking the monkey everyone understand everything perfectly, but when other people's emotions and identities are involved we become dumb. Why is that?

try to stay calm

I am very calm. I put exclamation marks as insults towards lack of sanity ;)

My post number 133 from above thread.

Is it? When spanking the monkey everyone understand everything perfectly, but when other people's emotions and identities are involved we become dumb. Why is that?

Well, it was hard for me to understand as I'm not well educated and not that smart, your question is very good indeed.
I was going to give an example from my life but I think it would be too personal.

I am very calm.

Good for you, no reason to be otherwise :)

At this point it would mean being gay was due to a genetic defect, that could one day be corrected, and not a mental illness after all.

that's just crazy.. that's like saying that having blue eyes or read hair is a genetic defect.. it's not.. it's just a variant.. gays have been around as long as humans have.. there are also plenty of gayness in other species.. it's not really abnormal.. it's just different.

Clearly this was a conscious "choice" she made. Some might call this choice the result of a mental illness, but more likely her temporary gayness was a reflection of society's promoting and celebrating of gayness as being trendy and cool.

no, it's just what you said, it's experimenting.. not gayness..

bi's.. are just another variation just like green eyes or black hair are... seriously dude.. except it, don't fight it.. come on out.. we won't hate you any more then we already do.. it's ok. :D :D

"Any treatment centres for homos in Poland?"

Are there any treatment centers for left-handed people?
Are there any treatment centers for people who eat spinach?
Are there any treatment centers for people who want to become lawyers?
Are there any treatment centers for people who are inordinately upset with homosexuals?

Some people are homos; most people are heteros; so what?!

I don't know what is going on in the US and I don't care, since not the whole world revolves around US. This is a Polish forum and I am wondering what is your connection to that country. Or you just came to brand everybody PC, because before you came, we could discuss things without being labeled, now everything is PC, even my Apple computer- it has to be, I am typing on it. Total paranoia and one - dimensional thinking. Your world is shrinking. When are you gonna start thinking for yourself for change.

You sound like a broken record. It that what they teach you in US schools these days?

Even the kid in Afganistan is able to think more critically then you.

I've just watched a doc which really made me confused.
It was a document made in gay-friendly way but it was something which accidentally acknoledged all of homophobes fears and stereotypes.

I'm curiouse if someone has seen that doc besides me:
