Oh, how I've grown ;) ;)

actually became a bit less civilized. ;) :)

Chicago Pollock:
You can't legislate morality,

tell that to the righties of this world

Chicago Pollock:
You know this is not mainstream America.

knives and guns being brought to school? of course it is.. it's constantly in the news..

Chicago Pollock:
It's got nothing to do with it, a gun is an inanimate object.

correct but the wild animals don't know how to "play" well with guns in most instances. i think i would know.

In one sense that's possible, plk123 ;)

Pol3, why can't you accept that young Poles are responsible for their actions and choices? At 8, we ascribe a lot of importance to children understanding the repercussions of their actions (in Scotland) so what makes you think that they decay? Yes, there are influences but are you the policeman of all children?

Rightist, leftist... Why all this labelling and sloganeering? Is there anything rightist or leftist about being civilised and civil, kind towards and considerate of others or raising kids to be decent human beings and good citizens rather than selfish, greedy, pleasure-obsessed scumbag consumers?

I applaud this call for tolerance and a suspension of pre-judgements!

Well, that didn't last long....
