I came here because I work in the building industry and there are so many polish guys working here so I figured I might as well try to learn a bit polish. Also, one of my best friends is polish, we speak english but it's fun to try to learn new language!

Good, then good luck with the Polish language, it's a bit more difficult than Norwegian :P But as you already have a Polish friend, i suppose he/she can help you out too :)

Welcome to the forum, good to see other Norwegians in here.
Be prepaired to spend a lot of time if you are going to learn polish, it is a very difficult language. But it is a fun language, you will get a hang of it. :)

I do know some words and I can recognise some parts of conversation if people speak slowly, but I couldnt write polish if my life depended on it..!

I think i know a word you recognize and hear often, it sounds like norwegian for "basket" + a ,hehe
