Can anyone tell me when the song 'Ułani' was written and by whom.

Words by F. Gwiżdż and author of music is unknown.
The song propably was written during the uprising and first version was in 1807-1815.

It is hard not to love those super cool Ułani, easily among the most spectacular cavalrymen in history (not being Spanish certainly helps foster this impression!)
