Ok, i realise there probably aren't any in Siedlce, its a bit to small... i've been here for over a month now, teaching english, and am also interested in maybe meeting up with some fellow countrymen. I'm trying to learn the lingo as i go, but its bloody difficult!

Cheers

Try this:
The-Bokkies
Are you a Bok or a Bokkie? Married to a Bok or Bokkie or simply interested in things Bokkies? Why not join us for a get-together? If you're interested, or even just curious, contact: The-Bokkies@excite.com or phone Sharon Struthers-Reilly at 0600-144-677.

I know that Sharon has left Warsaw but that email address should still work.

Oh wow, life on Mars! :-) Was wondering if anyone actually saw this thread. I'm a Bok, engaged to a Pole, working as an english teacher, but honestly would like a change in employment :-p English is good (especially my regular classes), but conversation classes can be a nightmare... I'll check out the email adress later, pop a short mail... registered at the SA embassy, apparently they also organise get-togethers on occasion.
Alrighty, later guys!

Aye, in Siedlce... not too far from Warsaw at least. I go through every 2 or 3 weeks for a morning, unfortuantely i work 6 days a week (even though its only for 2 hours a day :-p), so weekends are a ***** for coming through. Maybe at the end of the month i'll be able to, school holidays soon :-D
Whereabouts you at?

Well if u like teaching ull find a job easy, but its better if you have some kind of Tefel or sum kind of cert. Where in SA are u now and where in Poland will u be coming to ?

Aye, i have a TEFL certificate, and it was pretty easy to get a job here - but there's only 2 native speakers in the whole of Siedlce. Bigger cities have many more, so it depends where you want to live.

Away-Guy, i'll email you soon
