Thanks Lukasz it looks very good.

“The Soviet Story” is a story of an Allied power, which helped the Nazis to fight Jews and which slaughtered its own people on an industrial scale. Assisted by the West, this power triumphed on May 9th, 1945. Its crimes were made taboo, and the complete story of Europe’s most murderous regime has never been told. Until now…

As I understood the trailer it is about the history of the ideological Soviet...the communists and how it came to be...nothing about occupation or WWII...are there more trailers?

From Celinski link

FILM SYNOPSIS

"The film tells the story of the Soviet regime.

- The Great Famine in Ukraine (1932/33)
- The Katyn massacre (1940)
- The SS-KGB partnership [in the late 1930s the KGB was called NKVD,
- Soviet mass deportations
- Medical experiments in the GULAG.

These are just a few of the subjects covered in the film.

“The Soviet Story” also discusses the impact of the Soviet legacy on modern day Europe. Listen to experts and European MPs discussing the implications of a selective attitude towards mass murder; and meet a woman describing the burial of her new born son in a GULAG concentration camp.
The Soviet Story is a story of pain, injustice and “realpolitik”."

If you go to the above link it also has photo's, personal documents and other links. I just ask why it is addressed to "Jews" when "Stalin" as we know was killing in "Katyn" and "eastern Poland" (military reserves) deporting millions to slave and die? Truth be told Stalin and Hitler had a plan to destroy Poland and split the country.

Give it time...it's a start.

I'm pleasantly surprised at the presentation of that movie at that side....it will make it harder to defame it as stupid revisionist crap by the usual suspects!
I just hope the authors have every evidence tightly nailed or they will soon swim in boiling water....

I am happy than Latvians have made this movie. I hope that I will be able to see it soon. As to Soviet regime I think that some people will lose their romantic view on communism.
Celinski lets stop auctions with Jews who was biger victim (it seems that Ukrainians) ... in this way it will be easier to present truth.

It is not stupid revisionist crap, it was reality in some countries.

there is good book about Soviet concentarions camps

This is a great idea. Many voices make light work. I will never deny the "Holocaust" and the plight of the "Jewish" people. I just want Poland's victim's from "Hitler" and "Stalin" included.

The Great Cover-Up "Katyn"

The Hollywood communists, writes Billingsley, knew that any film depicting Soviet atrocities would force some to conclude that HUAC was right, and worse "would violate the legend of the blacklist." In the end the CPUSA succeeded at keeping all mention of Stalinist atrocities out of the theaters -- up until and including today.

When will the Jewish understand that we are no longer living this lie.

Accusing the USSR of the Holocaust is an attempt to revise history - FJCR

Moscow, April 14, Interfax - The Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia is perplexed with Latvia’s accusing the USSR of helping fascist Germany “kindle the Holocaust.”

“I suppose it’s just another attempt to pass the buck,” the FJCR spokesman Boruh Gorin told Interfax-Religion.

As was reported, a Latvian documentary by Edvins Snore sponsored by the European Parliament was earlier presented in Brussels. On basis of “recently uncovered archive documents” its authors claim that ‘the Soviet Union helped Nazi Germany in kindling the Holocaust.”

Commenting on it, Gorin said it was an attempt to shift responsibility from real criminals - SS legionaries - to other people.

“It’s convenient to trace them among the so-called “Soviet occupants,” as the latter personify a common enemy and to ascribe the Holocaust to the Soviet government though it has enough sin of its own,” Gorin noted.

I feel USA kisses up to "Jewish victims" and has helped them act as if they were the only victims. By the way the artical above comes out of "Moscow".

No I know they had victims just as Austria did. How can they deny others and tell others:
"That’s why everything is clear both for Jewish historians and Jewish public conscience in various countries, and no versions can be offered,” the interviewee of the agency stressed."

Flames were fanned when Polands people were killed by "Stalin" and "Hitler".

Yes, other versions shall be told it is not just there choice. For a group that does not want the "Holocaust" denied they spend an alot of time denying our families victims. Have you seen "Katyn yet? Tell me "Stalin" was not the other leader of the "Holocaust"?

Austria compensates more victims of Nazi regime

by: AFP Updated: 13/Apr/2008 22:13
VIENNA (AFP)---The Austrian parliament voted on Thursday to compensate thousands of descendents of victims and political opponents persecuted by the Nazi regime, marking the 70th anniversary of the country's annexation by Germany.

Only an extreme-right party opposed a plan to pay out 1,000 euros (1,600 dollars) to each of the 3,300 victims.

Austria had made four previous similar payouts, namely in 1975, 1985, 1988 and in 2005. Politicians from the opposition have called for legislation to pay back "the forgotten victims".

After Nazi Germany invaded Austria in 1938, some 65,000 Austrian Jews were assassinated and 130,000 Austrians were forced into exile.
