Tickets are available to buy until 31st March but as I've never attended a major football tournament I'm not too sure how it all works.

I know I have to register on the website first but I would only be interested in attending a match if I could go to see either Poland or England play. I don't believe Poland's matches have been scheduled a date yet and as far as England are concerned we don't even know if they will qualify !

Do people just buy tickets and hope for the best ?

I guess so. If you are one of the lucky ones who obtains a ticket and don't fancy watching the game, then you could probably sell it on for 10 times it's face value.

Thanks guys. I guess I must be naive then.

I was born in England, I have Polish parents (and girlfriend). I'm willing to travel to Poland for the tournament and pay for a couple of premium seats and then I could end up with tickets for Switzerland vs Greece ! Great !!

I would have thought tickets would have been sold later on in the year but I'm sure there's a perfectly good reason why it's done this way.

There is an option " follow my team " , by choosing this option , you will be sure you would l attend the matches of your favourite team , it is all explained clearly on the website in English .

Not really.

I can't choose to "follow my team" if I don't know if my team will even qualify for the tournament.

the problem is I would need to buy the tickets before knowing which teams qualify.

But it also says, that you only have to pay, if your team qualifys. So, just go for england and hope they qualify.
And you can still select other tickets... I for myself bough a follow my team group england and some KO matches in Poland... and the final... but I don't expect to get something for the final...
