Hi ! Langdon Football Club are considering a tour to Gdansk /Sopot in May (17-22nd probably). We are a VERY amateur team playing in the lower levels of amateur football in Devon, England.
We are looking for contacts with clubs who may be interested in playing us.
We have played all over Europe usually without much success and have been in Poland last year without playing....
Any suggestions welcome.
We have Polish friends here who can help if English is not spoken.

Sounds like a hustle.... :)

You might want to contact the Pomeranian Football Association.

http://www.pomorski-zpn.pl/

They run the local and regional leagues (fourth and fifth leagues).

Good luck.

Langdon FC s results and league positions can be seen on sdfl.org.uk and defleague.co.uk
Our touring team is usually a mixture of these....Some years we play veterans matches....

Hi Chipper, I used to do this on a regular basis, up until about 4-5 years ago. The limbs were getting a bit aged and tired, haha. Anyway, we used to play 2 matches. One match was against a very amateurish team, such as what you describe your team is. We managed as follows, year 1, lost 1-0, year 2, drew 0-0 and year 3 won 1-0, so honours even ( phew ).
The other team was somewhat semi-pro, played twice with these guys, losing both, the third fixture was abandoned due to a downpour. Gave a good account of ourselves though.
The venue was in a town 25 miles from Gdansk called Wejherowo, in the towns own stadium ( Gryf Wejherowo ). As the team has recently been promoted, I don,t know if the stadium would be available for such fixtures anymore or when exactly their season finishes.
But fear not, I have many contacts and would probably be able to arrange 2 matches and venues no probs.
Post back if your interested and I,ll email you for further correspondence.

Hi Hitman .....Alll sounds positive to me....
We are awaiting Ryanairs summer schedule before we can proceed any further .
We had a really good time in Wroclaw last year and some years earlier in Krakow.
Our reception in both cities was VERY good and everyone has enjoyed Poland very much...
We hope to bring enough players to play at least twice.
And "maybe" even in Kaliningrad.........
Will be in touch when I know more.

short on time today, but I will mail asap. No problems with arranging matches, just depends on format ie. 5-a-side, 6-a-side and how many matches etc.
If your arranging a tournie and need teams, then thats also no probs, just have to get the details from yourself.

speak to you soon, regards Hitman.
