Yes, the new CL season is upon us and with that comes the game. So get your crystal balls out and please predict Chelsea to win while you're at it.
RULES stay the same as last season's and here's a reminder
ONLY predict the winner (or draw).
You will get points depending on the odds.
The minimum you can get from a correct bet is 2 pts.
Here's an example:
Barcelona vs Chelsea, and the odds are 4.00 for Barça, 2.00 for a draw, and 1.00 for Chelsea.
If Chelsea win, you get 2 pts (2x1.00), if the game ended in a draw, you get 4 pts (2x2.00), and if Barcelona win, you get 8 pts (2x4.00).
This time it's a clean slate for all of us, you have to earn a place in the TOP LEAGUE, therefore after the first round, the top 5 players will make the TOP LEAGUE and the rest will play in the reserves (Adebayor-esque). Oh sorry, in the CHALLENGER LEAGUE.
Therefore, the league rankings will come after the first round predictions. As it were last season, players will go up and down leagues depending on respective performances.
Let's play beautiful people, i would also encourage female participants to join the game as it's been known they're much better at predictions than males (don't ask for proof, just jump on the bandwagon)!
