Who are yours?

I'm quite partial to Korona Kielce. Not sure why. A combination of their bright kit and tendency to foul a lot. Can be entertaining and spice up a drab game of Polish football.

I don't follow them closely but Piast Gliwice. I have lived here for 5 years so it stands to reason but I'm not idiotic enough to wage a war with Górnik Zabrze fans, that's just lunacy!! It's my fiancee's family's home city after all.

I have always liked Wisła Krakow, but that is probably because I have close family (they are Wisła supporters) living in Krakow and visited the city frequently when a kid. Only been to one stadium in Poland and that was to see Wisła beat Bełchatów 2-1 a few seasons ago.

Growing up I also liked Górnik Zabrze, because one of my favourite all-time players was Włodzimierz Lubanski who played for them.

I always look out for ¦l±sk Wrocław results as that's where my wife was born.

As I plan to move to Warsaw in the next couple of years it only makes sense to follow one of the teams based in Warsaw; it'll probably be Polonia Warszawa rather than Legia. Not sure why, maybe it's something to do with supporting the underdog and not taking the easy option of supporting one of the 'successful' clubs!

Here in London I support Fulham :o)

Gryf Słupsk and Leeds United have established friendship in the late 80's as can be

Must be the only place outside of Leeds that likes them. Highly un-popular team.

No. I watched Sheffield united for a number of years but don't go anymore. All this diving and acting puts me off. You can do anything bar tackle these days.

I will be crossing my fingers though for Rotherham utd who are at Wembley next sunday in the play off final.

where?

Everywhere :-) the WHOLE of Yorkshire bar Leeds and of course over the Pennines.

I was glad to see Sheffield wednesday go down as well :-)

I support Gieks Katowice. Main reason is that I am a Banik Ostrava fan and the teams have a very close friendship. Gieks have always been good guys when I've met them in the past. Had beers together, exchanged stickers etc... Good memories. Just a shame they're stuck in the second league although it means they come to all the big Banik games.
