I can't say I disagree :)

Ironically, despite the history of the two nations, there are many examples of where when Poles and Germans interact, the interaction creates high performance individuals. Many win-win situations have been created by Germans and Poles.

The great German soccer team with Polish star players is one of many examples. That's definitely a win-win situation for Germans and Poles in my opinion.

Are you talking about the German soccer team?

So what if the German soccer team takes credit for being a good soccer team? And dare I say, and why shouldn't the German soccer team get credit, when......I hate to say it.....the Polish soccer team didn't give these fine Polish soccer players a chance when the German soccer team DID?

I read a story where one or two of these Polish soccer player stars on the German team were purposedly overlooked by the Polish soccer coach. It could have been a personal or political thing or something crazy. I hate to say it but its the Polish soccer team's loss.

The German soccer team was something that allowed these Polish soccer players to live up to their God given athletic potential that they couldn't do in Poland (or any other country).

Now maybe other German sports couldn't do that for Polish athletes, but German soccer is something that can and did so you have to give credit where credit is due.

What I meant is that it's a win for Germany and a win for some Poles. Not Poland as a country.

You are correct.

But as a somebody who is of Polish ancestry, I enjoy seeing people of Polish ancestry do well in Germany, Britain, Netherlands, Poland, France, Australia, America......anywhere.
