Hi,
I will be in Poland during March of next year. During this time Wisla Krakow play Lech Poznan and Legia Warsaw play Polonia Warsaw. I would very much like to attend these games. Does anyone know how I can get tickets for these games? I realise they are both big matches.

Thanks for any information

you wont have a problem, just get from the ticket office at the stadium or at one of the big shopping malls they should have a fan point (if its anything like here in gdansk) but you'll probaby need to get a fan card Karta kibica, around 20 zl. Games here are never sold out at the bigger stadiums so you DEFFO get a ticket :)

Enjoy the FOOTBALL ;)

I checked on the Legia website and if you are a foreign visitor, ie. possess a foreign passport, then you don't need to get a supporters card, as showing your passport should be enough for you to purchase a ticket.

I am going to be in Warsaw 9-17 December and hope to go to see Legia v Cracovia, which is the last weekend of fixtures before the winter break.

A few years ago I went to see Wisła Krakow v Bełchatów and didn't need to get any supporters card;

I'll let you know how I get on in December,

Not what they told me at the ticket window when I tried to buy tickets. At the time I didn't have a Pesel. Your passport is enough to be able to obtain a Karta Kibica as they will use your passport number instead of Pesel, if you don't have a Pesel. When you go to the gates to enter you are asked for your Karta Kibica as well as your ticket.

For the sake of 20 zlotcyh you are better off getting the Karta kibica.

This may be very true as it might cause less confusion to the person on the turnstiles; they may not be aware of the people that need to have the 'Karta Kibica'

This was cut/pasted from the official Legia website which states that people who are not Polish citizens do not need to have a supporters card, although if they would like one then they would need to produce their passports.

I am not a Polish citizen, do not possess a PESEL, so I would expect showing my passport to purchase a ticket the day prior to the game would be enough; I understand this may cause problems at the turnstiles, and therefore the simplest way to avoid any confusion would be to purchase the 'supporters card' - however if in the future I wanted to purchase a ticket online I don't think this would be possible as they require one to have a PESEL.

Hi. (owls05)Thanks for the information Cloggers

I got a ticket for Fridays game between Wisla and Lech. No problem. I arrive in Warsaw on the day of the Legia-Polonia game but I have been told by the club that the stadium has never sold out thus far and is showing no signs of doing so in the future.

I am thinking of travelling to Zabrze on Saturday for the game between Gornik and Lechia. I hear that Gornik Zabre's stadium has limited capacity at the moment. I e-mailed the club regarding tickets and they have yet to reply. Does anyone know whether there are likely to be tickets available on the day of the game?

Thanks
