I used to go to Gymnasion here in Warsaw, which I liked a lot. Unfortunately they bankrupted...
Any suggestions for a good (and not too expensive) gym in the city centre?

i wouldn't bother with a gym. PE experts would advise against them, cos they ruin the bodies natural set up.

Go for a run, about 1/2 mile a day or every other day. Then do some weights at home.

Welll honestly speaking I used to like Gymnasion. Did the "cardio" a few times per week.
So does anyone know a good alternative in town ?

Powerhouse is cheap and its in tamka street.Energy near plac teatralny is a bit better.

Well, gyms are very useful and unfortunately the cold is installed and soon snow as well, so poor guy that will rely is cardio workout just running outside.... and about the weights, if you achieve a decent level of strengh, it wont be possible to compensate the machines in the gym with home exercices or weights.

I believe and i have proof that going to the gym evolves your body quality and endurance. so hopefully men and women keep going there and keep their heart and muscles fit.

I guess few people had bad experience, its part of life. But the most important is to workout , wherever it is :)

Both the Holmes Place Energy Clubs in Galeria Mokotow and Arkadia have a discount for ex Gymnasium members, 160zl per month. Both are pretty decent clubs.

They also have a premium club in Hilton, that is more expensive (about 400zl) but is probably the best club in Poland/CEE.
