Israeli Maor Melikson to play for Polish national football team

Fair point, Wroc³aw666. However, will his heart be in it if he feels some dislike towards the people?


Every player is as an actor, that's a job. If people like the player, he has better motivation to be as best as he can. If fans are not interested or their orientation is hostile, the footballer won't play well.

Anyway, the problem has been solved... Melikson won't play in Polish National Team for this moment. He made a statement recently.

I think it was a game to increase his position in Israeli National Team. Never mind !

Majority of Polish fans actually support Melikson as a Polish National Team player. There was a survey on wp. The minority who are against or neutral usually say that this is pure business, that he doesnt speak Polish, that Polish FA should not looking on players who are not really bound with Poland.

I just wikied the guy this argument is irrelevant he ha already played for Israel, so is ineligible to play for Poland.

That's right, majority of PL fans support him, but as Seanus mentioned it's because he can improve our National Team. Actually I think that Internet community is a minority in Poland, and the major of Poles can have different opinion regarding foreign players in our National Team... I accept Melikson in our team, if he is better than Polish forwarders.
