Poland vs. Cameroon

Today, our national team Poland will face Cameroon in a friendly match. Links watch the match online can be found on my blog www.polandsoccer.wordpress.com

My prediction: Poland 1-0 Cameroon

Yes, he got two !

I didn't see the game live, only highlights and it seems that Polska didn't play too badly, as the final score suggests; they had plenty of chances with Murawski hitting the crossbar in the first half, Lewandowski had a couple of opportunities, Obraniak early in second half should've scored.

Cameroon were clinical with their finishing, and took their three goals really well.

It will be interesting to hear the views of anyone who saw the whole game, as highlights can be misleading.

Next friendly is on 4th September against Ukraine - I see the venue is likely to be Spain.

Well our national team simply put sucks nowadays, even Zbigniew Boniek is concerned that all this building and preparing for Euro 2012 will after the Euros be for nothing, that the team will get nowhere, he compared our national team to Titanic not just being under water but continuing to sink. We have good players, but need a new coach desperately. And the African teams are good, Nigeria, Ghana.

Sad fact but very true ..... and that's why Koscielny, recently bought by Arsenal has decided to play for France rather than Poland.

We have some decent goalkeepers, Błaszczykowski is probably the one possible World Class player, but our strike force is impotent and our defence needs a complete overhaul.

I think a manager with a proven record at managing national teams is what is needed .... Gus Hiddink .. ? Jurgen Klinsmann ? .... Roy Hodgson ?
