That was a suprise to everyone around. Kimbo may have some talent, but he needs a LOT of training to bring it out. Most likely he is already too old to be competitive.

His best ability is being able to draw a huge crowd and extensive media coverage.

I wonder how frustrated he'd be against Brock. Brock clearly outpowered Heath Herring and Heath is a big guy. Kimbo would have to rely on his punching. He could catch Brock but Brock would be odds on favourite to win.

Fedor vs. Brock would certainly get some serious ratings!

Well, Fedor manhandled Tim Sylvia and he's a big dude. I think, if Brock wasn't intimidated, he would stand a chance but Fedor is good striking too. He even got the better of Crocop. I'd put money on Fedor but Brock could hurt him. Arlovski was looking good until he got clocked.

The only time I'm not right is when I'm wrong ;) He didn't do too badly but he's no tough guy. Vera was just too lean and agile for him, his technical kicking was much better. He usually got caught when he approached Vera which was his only real chance of winning anyway.

He'll never fit the bill of 'top drawer fighter'.

Thanks man. I was away for a week and have been trying to work on my fitness. The footie starts up next week and I've been swimming and cycling so I need to keep it up. It's a frickin pest trying to get down to 92kgs. These MMA guys have really got it together, I could use that kind of training.

Posting here will be more sporadic. Judging by the level of posting by certain members, I will not make the top 10 on a regular basis.

No idea man. I'm not sure how well organized it'll be, sounds like the organizers might have "hand-picked" some opponents for their guys but, it might be worth (lol it's free) checking out.

That's why they produced Adamek and Gołota, right? Both with impressive records.

what do you think of the freak show involving Mariusz Pudzianowski? it appears he wants to fight Fedor's brother Alexander.
Pudzian is a Polish icon and seems to be a really decent guy. One rolling kneebar (for which sambo specialists are renowned) and it is the end of Mariusz's career in strong man and MMA.
if he wants to continue in MMA, he should fight a fellow freak with limited MMA ability like
Bob Sapp or Butterbean or Kimbo Slice but going up against someone who could easily cripple you in only your second fight is not the wisest of moves
knee bars against guys with strong legs can easily end in a fracture. even when training with training partners. crank, no response, so crank, no response, so crank just a few milimetres more and snap... whoops, sorry

His main chance is the docility of Aleksander. He lacks punch in some fights, he is languid and labours unlike Fedor. Pudzian has an outside chance here. I wouldn't recommend Sapp as he is a laughing stock and could foreseeably beat Mariusz. I'd favour the Dominator as he has better cardio.

Take Aleksander and shock the world, Pudzian!

Just thought I'd mention the great fighter Tony Zale.

Met him many years ago on the south side of Chicago; he was selling automobiles. By all accounts he was a classy guy; a good guy.

Try the Gramofon bouncers in Gliwice. One of them is a BJJ black belt, weighing around 88kgs. He'll maybe take the fight.

Pudzian Vs Henry 'Sentoryu' Miller, I hope this isn't true. He's crap, 6-10 and 40 years old. He lost 2 days ago to that 'kiss' opponent of Heath Herring's.

Ask for the bouncer named 'Indy'. For privacy reasons, I can't reveal his true name but he is used to cage fights and has fought internationally. I have watched him train and fight. Anthony Rea is in for a hiding. He's 5th Dan I think. His MMA is infinitely better than Pudzian's.

I told you, he works at Gramofon which is just off the rynek. You can ask around for directions ;0 ;) I don't have his details but he has a hall in which he trains people. It's on Sobieskiego street in Gliwice.
