I have a Polish National Rugby Jersey. ITs probably the coolest thing ever.

Would you be so kind and tell me where did you buy it?
I've been looking for that jersey for ages now, still no joy.
... website, store? Please tell!

A few wekks back I went to watch the Sopot Ogniwo rugby team ply and frankly rugby in Poland is a mess. I have seen better performances from Mini rugby tems in my home town. The players I have met are basically skinhead thugs who like nothing better than to indulge in a litlle fusty cuffs on the field. I had to leave after 20 mins cos they were ruining my lovely game. I played rugby in Wales for 12 years and now, through no choice of my own I live in Poland (married a Polish lady) and I thoughly miss the game. If there are any Expats in the trojmisto area thet are interested in playing some proper rugby pls get in touch.

Do you know who is the most famous international Rugby player in the world ever ?

Pope John Paul II came on as a substitute for Poland against Italy. In fact when he visited Scotland he did a service in Murrayfield the home of Scottish Rugby!

Come on name a rugby player that is more famous than Pope John Paul? You can't so he must be the most famous international Rugby player in the world ever!

I'm sorry but he was not a rugby player. Indeed he was a famous man but not for playing rugby. Some of the greatest rugby players to ever walk this earth came from Wales, JPR and the likes dominated the sport and at that time rugby was not even professional.

Its a typical Polish attitude to believe they have the greatest everything, I hear it so much in fact that i get sick of it. "
"We have the longest pier in Europe, the greatest basketball team in the world"
and much more. I hear this **** every day but actually we all know its because of Polish insecurity.

Hi,

I'm a rugby coach at one of the top amateur rugby clubs in Scotland. We are looking for quality players who would like to develop as players for the 2009/2010 season.

Does anyone know if any of the top Polish rugby players would fancy a season playing in Scotland? Does anyone have contact details for the top club sides in Poland?

Cheers

I've not seen to much of the Polish rugby team, but I'd still back them to out-scrummage the ozzies...

Your kidding, the ozzies have always been AWFUL at scrums. That's why their so supportive of the new law changes (ELVs) implemented this season. See:

if you can't get it there, phone or email Ob Sport in Ireland, they have a website and they will sell you one, but not via the website. I know a few people who got it that way.

try looking at rugby7 dot info, there is a tournament in Wroclaw this weekend. I don't think there are any 15's clubs in the area though.

We're so shite that New Zealand U-12 girls would completely destroy us.

Not forgetting of course Ireland's Paul O'Connell (a personal sporting hero of mine) who is Lions captain.
