I think you're getting confused with Starbucks !!!

Also, the Lions consist of 4 countries rather than 3.. Ireland , England, Scotland & Wales.

Unfortunately, the better team, ie The Lions , left Saturday's test & the series behind them. ( But at least we tried to play a fair game & weren't cited for gouging & dangerous tackles...the latter resulting in uncontested scrums which caused the ultimate downfall of the Lions ... the Beast certainly got a lesson from Adam Jones )
As for your fool of a head coach , can't see him getting away with it for much longer .

Where did you find one?

Maybe we're Polish and want to support the growth of rugby. Seems like a good reason to me.

Why not play both? Rugger is a man's game and I'd love a game here. My pace and strength may be put to good use but my stamina is questionable ;)

LOL, I thought it might be you Davie ;) I set myself up for that. Virtually nothing in the way of fitness and it's killing me. A good hard-hitting game of rugby is what I need.

I've just taken up the gym and going running, so slowly getting back to my pre-krakow days.
Local football team are quite good so I'm thinking of playing with them.

Rugby, I love it, used to have a guy in our class at school who played with the Scottish schoolboys, guy was tiny but built like bricks, u just couldnt tackle the guy, others at 6ft odd would try and bash him out the way but nothing stopped him.

What in the name of Jesus are you on about. Union needs some tweaking to get right but league is dross to watch, a glorified wrestling match with no skill or tactics. I hope to God John O'Neill in Australia doesn't get his way and turn Union into a hybrid of the two just because he has domestic competition issues.

League will near disappear soon enough with 7's going global in the Olympics and the best league talent going to union.

Problem is league attracts a certain clientele that we don't want, just open a gossip column and there's another assault charge pending for some league "star"!

Union is dross to watch. Kick and kick back then in to touch, total WANK!

League is way better game to watch, way more exciting.

League is the number 1 sport in two areas globally, Northern England and the Australian west coast. It is a minority sport and will shrink year by year. The tweaking I was referring to was with regard to encouraging ball carrying and discouraging aimless kicking. Kicking is an important part of union and is a wonderful skill when executed well.

If league was such good entertainment why do people not watch it? I was bored and watched 20 minutes of the "Magic weekend" in edinburgh last year. Half a dozen games for one ticket price and a few thousand turnes up in a 67,000 seater. The RFL claim 29,000 were there, and I'm 9 foot tall! I was in town for the Heineken cup final and there were thousands without tickets for the game.

No market for your sport outside its core areas.

just 2009, from wiki.

* Canberra Raiders star Todd Carney went on a rampage in Goulburn, damaging property, jumping on a car bonnet and damaging the entrance to a Fone Zone store. He received a 12 month suspended jail sentence, was ordered to undertake alcohol counselling, and was banned from the local Government area for 12 months.[104]
* Anthony Watmough was accused by a Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles sponsor of punching him and harassing his daughter in a derogatory manner at a season launch party.[105]

you better take that back! you know that it is strategically inferior.

certain clientele

too true.

People with a short attention span, the people who play it in Australia are total knuckleheads.
