Polska play another friendly tonight, against Serbia in Austria,

Kick off is 20.30 Polish time, 19.30 UK time.

Hopefully we'll get a few goals tonight and put on a decent performance.

All our matches before Euro 2012 will be friendlies, no 'real competitive' matches which make it quite hard to assess how good/bad the team really is.

Agreed, friendlies are usually not really good indicators, however, it does say sth about the team. In fact, I wouldn't regard it a shame for the Polish team to lose from Serbia as Serbia is a strong opponent. But we will see; you never know what will happen.

Friends called me crazy today when putting in my pool for the WC. I have Brasil fighting for the second or third place in its group and if they make it to the second round, they will go out. It is estimated that Brasil has currently the worst team it had in 66 years.

M-G (is glad though that the Dutch team hasn't lost one game since it's defeat by the Russians in 2008 - 4 to 1 against Ghana is a good result, imo)

0-0 ! I couldn't see the game, even though I ordered up to 10 sport channels, not one of them showed the game :-(

Don't worry, you didn't miss much !

Poland played well in the first half, but Serbia came into the game a lot more in the second half and missed a few chances, even one open goal.

The weather conditions didn't help, and I suppose a 0-0 result was fair.

I though Lewandowski had quite a poor game, and the only real star we have in our team is Jakub Błaszczykowski.

Polska seem to play well in midfield, especially on the right going forward, but don't have anyone threatening in the final third.
Our defence looked a bity dodgy, especially passing back to the keeper on a very wet and tricky surface.

It will be interesting to see how we do against Spain on 8th June .....:o)

I think it will be Spain 2 Poland 0 with Spain fielding a largely second-rate team.

I think Polska will do well to keep it down to 2 ! Having said that, sometimes we can surprise ourselves, especially as Spain will be treading carefully to avoid any last minute injuries.

Does anyone know where the game is being played?

Not sure of the venue but Poland should keep it to 2 if Spain field a second string team. Serbia are quite potent in attack but obviously wanted to maintain good relations.
