Sports betting in Poland (local shops?)

is it legal?
are there local shops you can bet cash at?
do they take bets on american sports?
international soccer?


will be in gdansk june 6-20 for euro 2012. looking for good places to watch (and bet!) the matches!

also looking for SINGLE tickets to any of the 3 group matches involving spain! (spain-italy, spain-croatia, spain-ireland)

it is legal - one of the networks is called STS - there was even a bigger network that I used to bet with but can't remember the name and I actually don't know if they still exist

they take bets on the NBA and NHL also tennis when played in the US - neither baseball nor American football are familiar to Poles and therefore no betting here - and finally I wouldn't be surprised most Poles actually don't consider golf a sport

I was a lifelong gambler before I came to live in Poland. Horses, football, politics. The odds are terrible here. Not worth it. I haven't had a bet in Poland in ten years.

ill be out there for 2 weeks in june for the euro 2012 soccer.
was hoping to be able to bet some baseball, but if not, at least hoping they'll take action on the soccer matches (without too terrible of odds!)
when i was in Wales, UK, they had bet shops on nearly every corner. ladbrokes, william hill, etc. made the vacation even more exciting with $$$ action on all the big matches!
