I didn't know he was fighting again so soon. Good luck to 'Góral'. I think he should win in the 8th round.

That prediction sounds about right.

They say that its important for boxers to have at least several fights a year to keep themselves mentally and physically in shape. That could be part of the reason why Adamek likes to keep it going.

On a side note, there has been talk about how Adamek should have knocked out or had a more decisive victory against his last opponent Michael Grant (6 foot 7, 261 pounds of muscle and much experience). But the same could be said about the last fight Klitchko had with a very similar boxer. I forgot his name, but the last guy Klitchko beat was quite similar to Michael Grant in size, power and experience, and Klitchko didn't knock him out or come close to it. My point is that based on this, a fight between Klitchko and Adamek could be more even than people think.

Yeah, was that Shannon Briggs? VK always had the measure of him in that fight. Adamek is 34 now and needs to make a push for the title. Beating a 33-6 fighter will increase his chances. Truth be told, Adamek would be able to stay with the Klitschkos but would likely be caught out with a bomb sooner or later.

Yeh... He was far from knocking Briggs out ;) Check out 0:01, 0:04, 0:08, 0:48, 0:58-1:09, 1:16!, 1:26, 1:32!!!, 1:35-37!!!, - after these H-bombs "normal" boxers fall down, Shannon just has a heart of a lion, no doubt. With full respect, I wouldn't say Klitchko wasn't close. A few more dynamites and Dr. Ironfist would have put the Cannon to rest.

Vitali was ready to take Briggs to hell, but Briggs preferred to listen to "Hell Bells" in the ring - so Klitchko brought the hell into the ring ;) and set a hurricane :)

I think it's likely that Adamek would take the first few rounds by simply outworking and outrunning them - but certainly Vitali wouldn't be so stupid as to tire himself out in those rounds either. I could see Adamek losing by TKO late on, because I can't see him having the strength to outrun, outmuscle and outbox Vitali for 12 rounds.

His only hope would be to be in such immense physical condition that he could hit and move, hit and move, hit and move constantly for 12 rounds. But I couldn't see him taking much punishment from Vitali and surviving - he's much smaller, and Vitali has a hell of a hard punch. The great thing about Vitali at least is his ability to put combinations together - and to have the power behind them.

For what it's worth, I want to see Haye vs Wladimir and Adamek vs Vitali - with the winners facing each other. If the Klitschko's win, then they prove their dominance over the division and can retire peacefully.

Adamek wins TKO 5th round, great fight but Vinny wasn't that good of an opponent, way too slow no big puncher, i'd like to see him up against someone who will seriously compete with him.

Maybe Vinny isn't a top 5 fighter but he was 33-6 (wins mostly were KO's) coming into the fight with plenty of knockouts under his belt.

On another note, the match before Adamek had middle weight Polish fighter Patrick Majewski, TKO his opponent who was 7-3 (7 KO's) coming into the fight. Majewski is now undefeated at 15-0 with 10KOs.

I had a sneaking suspicion that the 5th might be the one but Adamek tends to string out his fights til the mid/later rounds. Also, the other guy looked pretty tough before the fight. Ah well, Adamek is up to sth like 43-1.

How about this Chisora fella from London? Is he another Fraudley Harrison? I'm not tickled by any heavyweight fights since King Lewis retired - they're a scum these days! The Super/Welterweight categories provide more value for money! I'm waiting for the Pacuiao v Mayweather fight.

Theres a lot of business men ruining boxing has been for ages now. I remember Amir Khan just before he turned pro, they brought over the guy that beat him in the final of the olympic games to England, of course Amir won the fight, what would have happened had he lost? It was assumed he would win, the fight was all about Khan gaining revenge on this guy. I say again what would happened had he lost? His opponent was obviously paid off as he had been an amateur for about 12 years or something. !!!he had already beaten Khan - twice!!!

He lost in the final to Mario Kindelan, the Cuban who had also beaten him several months earlier in the pre-Olympic match-ups in Greece. In 2005 he avenged the two losses by beating the 34-year-old Kindelan in his last amateur fight.

In May 2005, aged 34, he came out of retirement and travelled to Bolton, England for a third fight with Amir Khan. He had beaten Khan twice already the previous year – in the Pre-Olympic tournament and the Olympic Lightweight final – however Khan had become a popular attraction in the UK and a third fight was arranged to set up his professional debut. Khan beat Kindelan on points 19-13.

What a load of crap with Frank Warren at the head of it all.

Polish fighter Patrick Majewski

Yea Majewski from Atlantic City was a good fighter, good punching power only thing wrong i saw was he still needs to learn how to finish an opponent many times he hurt the guy with a punch and didn't follow up with more punches allowing the guy to recover. His opponent was a great fighter good power, with a variety of punches, was constantly all over him especially after hurting him.
