Hi all,

By the way I do not speak Polish, but big Mariusz fan.

Pudzianowi you help? VOTE, that is the greatest athlete

Our "Dominator" has already been awarded. Found in the "Number Seven" world famous. Pole is, however, the chances of ...

Grand prize for the best met our strongmana Mariusz Pudzianowski. Polish athlete, who at the weekend in Malta, he became vice-champion of the world, was nominated for the "Walk of Fame" of this spectacular sport.

The official website of the international federation published the names of nominees strongmanów players - past and present - the title of "greatest athlete in history."

Pole found himself among the seven strongmanów alongside such stars as:
1. Bill Kazmaier,
2. Bruce Wilhelm,
3. Geoff Capes,
4. Jon Pall Sigmarsson,
5. Jouko Ahola
6. Magnus ver Magnusson.

Now everything in the hands of their users. Vote because loading, and your voices are priceless. Pudzian currently (as of the day. 18:30) is an investment second (with 24% of votes). At the head of the legendary strongman of Iceland - Sigmarsson (55%). Dominator for the Polish, the very fact that he was among the nominees is a great splendor, but if that was the greatest Pole in history strongman ... Zapeszajmy not have been better. Pudziana love? Go ahead, vote, link below. Http://www.theworldsstrongestman.com/hall_of_fame.php

I'll vote for him, no problem. Pudzian is fighting a Polish boxer on the 11th of Dec this year. Word has it that they had a bar fight and they want to settle the score in the ring/cage (Najman?). Pudzian needs to increase his agility and I'm sure the dancing helped :)

I'd vote Pudzian for sure. The man is getting better and better. He needs armbar training and BJJ stuff.

It looks like he is going to have 2 fights in 2 weeks. http://www.pudzianfight.pl/index.php?news=223&lang=pl, the first with Tim Sylvia who he can dispose of if his stamina holds out. I hope he has been training hard in the gym and working on his cardio. It is scheduled for Apr 23 though I doubt it has been confirmed 100% like it suggests.

I think he should fight Blagoi Ivanov, the man who beat Fedor in sambo back in 2008.

However, timing again will be a problem as it is towards the end of Sep this year, KSW 14 that is. Moosin want to put him up against Kimbo Slice in the first or second week of Oct.

If he can beat Ivanov and Slice and become 4-1, he will have a future. However, both are better than him IMHO.

Bloody fix! Pudzian needs to fight Sapp next to see how he does.

The official time was 1:17. I was hoping for more standup action too. Pudzian just doesn't throw enough punches. He needs to watch some Tyson videos. Did he even get that training from Mickey 'Irish' Ward?

couldn't find the fight thread from last weekend, so i'm commenting here.

man, what a horrible fight. Butterbean is a great boxer for a big fat guy. if that was a boxing match, Mariusz would have gotten the beating of a lifetime. 3-4 minutes and Butterbean would knock his ass out.

he took a big fat guy to the ground and threw hammer punches till the ref called it. yet again, Pudzian has shown no fighting skills whatsoever.

Pudzian, you're a weightlifter. Give up the fighting man. You tried fighting a real fighter (Silva) earlier this year (albeit an older, half washed up Silva) and embarrassed yourself. I guess fighting chumps on Polish TV is the best you can do.

just callin' a spade a spade.

You really expected anything good? ;)

It looks like they're doing exactly what I thought they'd do - have him fight a succession of no hopers to build him up among the Polish (and Polonia, I guess) - easy money for him, he doesn't need to have any skill, and he can retire with a decent pile of cash.

No doubt he'll win some "Polish" belt before long, too.

I am more than sure he already has a decent pile of cash and doesn't really have to do what he is doing.

He wasn't only among them he was the best strongman ever, the amount of steroid abuse his body has endured over the years must be astonishing. The guy was a freak. Derek Poundstone is better now though, Pudzi would probably have beaten him in his prime.

Yeah but he was always a bit smaller in the biceps dept. He didn't compare to Manfred Hoeberl, the Austrian whose competing was knocked on its head due to a scary car accident. He had 26 inch biceps and I saw them in person at a Strongman Event in Scotland. Check out the picture on Google of him with Arnie :)

We must remember that Mamed Khalidov was 3-3-0 after 6 fights. Pudzian may well be too. However, Khalidov is now 23-4-2. Pudzian, whilst continuing to work on his skills on the ground and boxing, must place top priority on his conditioning/cardio. Without this, he will go nowhere. It's a disgrace as he should at least be able to handle 2x5 min rounds, if not 3x5. Some MMA guys do 5x5 min rounds. I appreciate that his muscles need to adjust but gassing after one round is just wrong.

Forgiveness is divine. Lesnar is a supreme athlete but he gassed quickly against Cain Velasquez. Pudzian must make sure that this doesn't happen again. He had a whole year to jog jog jog but I see that his soft spot for cutlettes hasn't disappeared.

Pudz will always suck at mma. He can't sit on his punches, he doesn't understand or "feel" foot work and he doesn't have the pedigree from any base mma disciplines. Pudz is a world class strong man, do not confuse that with a world class athlete.

Lesnar didn't gas as much against Cain as the hole in his stomach sapped his strength and he got knocked solid on the back of his skull, that being said, Cain is the better fighter anyhow.

Still, with top cardio he could at least stay in the ring a bit longer. Losing to JT is a huge embarrassment. The guy is a punchbag for any decent fighter. Only Sapp should be in the frame for the next fight. Or maybe Bobby Lashley as he gasses really quickly too.

I watched the fight, and it was embarrassing. Hell, losing to James freaking Thompson is an embarrassment lol. The only Polish fighter with potential to be a great fighter is Mamed Khalidov, he has tons of potential, and with a good camp like Golden Glory in the Netherlands, he can become even better.

I'm not hating on Pudzianowski. He is my favorite strongman and he is the best strongman of all time. But he doesn't have the heart and skill to be a fighter.

Jan Błachowicz could be too but Sokoudjou badly exposed him. Rożalski was crap again but is 2-0. Pudzian should fight again in Aug before KSW 17 in Nov. Throw him a can. Oh, sorry, they just did and he lost ;)
