Thats all we ask.

Well to be honest you were cheated out of your place, i remember watching the game and being disgusted by the whole affair, in such a big game how can people not come to the correct decision!!!.

Well it could be worse and its not like they have played a lot of games in the season so far, i'm sure results will pick up if the team is good enough.

Argentina isn´t having a good football moment. Te local football is a mes, the big teams like boca juniors and river are in the last positions.
The same situation is in the national team, but i believe in them, we have a greath team so we have to do something with it.

We were cheated out of a peno shoot out. The came was a draw up until the hand ball. It was a bitter pill to swallow, but thats football. Henry is an absolute p*ick. But in his prime, he was one of the greats.

Still though, I was very proud of the lads. They put it up to one of the giants of international football. For a small nation, were soccer has to compete with many other sports, thats no mean feat.

Hopefully this will spur the lads on to qualify for the European Championships.

A 4-3-3 wont work. In the knock stages teams will just attempt to smother the likes of Messi and hit them on the counter.

The argies need a flat back four, two holding players, two wingers, one attacking midfielder and one striker.

They will outplay any team with that formation, other than Spain and Brazil.

Andújar

Zanetti-Demichelis/Otamendi/Samuel-G.Milito-Insua/Heinze *4 of the 7*

Masherano/ Banega/ Cambiasso *2 of the 3*

Veron/Aimar
Messi/ Di Maria *2 of the 4*

Tevez/Aguero *1 of the 2*

Higuain/D.Milito/Lisandro *1 of the 3*

I would give the two wingers freedom to roam. The two defensive mid fielders would have the job of breaking down play, winning possesion and playing it into the creative talents. Their second responsibility would be to protect the full backs. And of course, to protect Messi from any bully boy tactics.

Messi is the key.

yeah these should have been in my squad too, both quality players, Di Maria more for the future but Higuain is hitting good form at the moment. I think a game between Engand and Argentina would be a good one, close aswell if you ask me.

Who would you have as your manager if you could choose to replace Maradona now?? or would you stick with Diego?

Atleast playing each other at football is better than fighting over the Faukland Islands, or as you guys call them, Malvinas. I don't see the point in fighting with the Argentinians as those Argentines who i have met have been nice people, aswell as cooking great steak in some cases!!!!

RevokeNice:

The formation you have chosen actually is pretty similar to mine, your attacking wingers are like my two wide strikers who can act as both strikers and midfielders. Messi and Tevez wide with Aguero through the middle.

bielsa

He already tried and failed in 2002 didn't he?? I mean you guys didn't even get out of the group stage!!!!

Arg_:
Carlos Bianchi

Not a bad shout, he has been there and done it as a player on both the national and international stage, not only as a player but a manager too. This gives him a solid base for international management, like Maradona the respect and presitge to go with it as well.

maradona is a crap.

Yes he is a poor manager, along with all the drugs etc etc i still have a lot of respect for him due to the fact he was such a wonderful player with so much talent. Players like Diego Arnando Maradona only come around once in a lifetime, unfortunately he went of the rails but i think should be remembered for what he did on the pitch rather than off it. (Plus i love his passion)

Like they won't pay him enough?? he does not like certain members of the association?? or maybe its to do with the trouble the Argie FA has gotten the domestic game into??

Arg_:

England

Well to be honest we are in good shape, as long as our best players stay fit, we stand a small chance of doing some damage in South Africa in the summer. I'm not saying that England will win the tournament, to me its about doing better than the last time, so i would accept a semi-final and be happy with a crack at the final.

I think there are only two teams that England cannot beat, they are Spain (who sometimes lack the bottle) and Brazil (who i just can't see England beating at all!!!) Apart from that everybody else is fair game for us.

No, heare the ¿Corruption?, you know. When someone who have power stole money from the people or is conected with the corrupt government, that´s what happen with Grondona, the head of the AFA.
Argentina is a verry problematic country in everything, drugs, political problems, bla bla bla.

Well to be honest Agentina has a long way to go when it comes to sorting out its problems, i mean it was under a military junta 30 odd years ago!!!

Ow i see, what problems has it caused?? to the game??

Every country has its problems, England has similar problems to Argentina, i just think we are a little better at hiding them. I've met only a handful of Argentine people in my life, however i have liked all of them and they have all left a good impression on me about themselves and their people.
