We are moving to Gdansk in September. I have 3 kids who I want to get involved in sports, even at the recreational level. Any suggestions on how I can find such activities? Not much luck searching google.

Some info here
Btw, it's about Trójmiasto (Tri-city), so it can be Gdańsk, Gdynia or Sopot, just read the address.

More detailed info

Kluby sportowe (Sports clubs)
Tennis
Sailing
Martial arts

Swimming lessons (some are for babies, some for bigger kids, some for teenagers or even adults - if you find something interesting, ask here, so you get some quick translation, because I can't translate all 15 entries on that list, although I notice one of those schools is owned by Alicja Pęczak, who represented Poland at the Olympic Games in 1992-2000 and her instructors are teachers at the Gdańsk Sports Academy, AWFiS, and they all have lifeguards licences)

What school(s) will your children be attending - or will you be home-schooling ?

Since we are only there 10 months- we will homeschool to keep them on track with their US school's curriculum. However, that is why I want to get them involved in after school or weekend activities with either other expat kids or native kids.

The American School might have some hints on after-school clubs, etc ?

We live in the area - but I've no idea about team sports. Karate and swimming don't exactly fit into that category :)

I'll ask around ... feel free to email me
