I want to write this...
"I'm thinking of you. Stocking up on red wine in anticipation"

This is my attempt
"Myslę o Ciebie. Zaopatrywam się w czerwone wino w antycypacja"

not sure zaopatrywać is the correct verb. help!

sausage:
"Myslę o Ciebie. Zaopatrywam się w czerwone wino w antycypacja"

mysle o Tobie.z niecierpliwoscia zaopatruje sie w czerwone wino.
i'd rather say:zaczalem juz kolekcjonowac czerowne wino na ta okazje-i've already started to collect red wine for this occasion

very difficult to translate, cos in Polish they don't use that term.

i think it has to do with with retail, and not personal things...im not sure though, will get back soon with answer

ok so im told they just don't use it when talking about collecting/stocking up for somebody.

For example you can collect wine in a cellar, but not for somebody:/ im bloody confused too:)

it has but it is perfectly normal to use this word/expression in this case, especially in informal conversation.

or 2. Myślę o Tobie...Gromadzę już czerwone wino na tą specjalną okazję...

Gromadzę

yes, I like that. Not that me liking it has anything to do whether a native pole would use that expression and it conveys the same meaning I want it to!

Amassing a stock of wine isn't something they are used to! Drinking it comes easily enough

i think you might use that too as well as kolekcjonuje(collect)
i might got anticipation wrong.
i translated anticipation as niecierpliwosc-eagerness
